This “Finland´s Lou Reed” with his old guitarist Mattila from his 80´s bands and the lineup (including Mattila´s son) threw an excellent gig.

Paradise Lost last night at Pakkahuone here in Tampere. The new songs, I didn´t know them at all but thank god they played “As I die”, “Requiem” and “Gothic”. A good night!

Los Bastardos Finlandeses, Hanoi Rocks and Motörhead in Hellsinki, Tampere and Oulu on Tue, Wed & Thu this week. It was kinda “No sleep til your deaf” journey for me:)
Now recovering from this over 1000 km trip around Finland and waiting for the Köln T? trip.
No surprises from Motörhead, they were as always, louder than hell:) Hanoi Rocks didn´t dissapoint either, best lineup from them I´ve seen so far and almost all the “golden oldies” came filled with sum new stuff.

Amorphis, Swallow the sun & Insomnium @ Nosturi in Hellsinki last Sat. It was nice to meet Marko&Minna&Riihimäki posse there. Those Amo boys blew our sadness away that night, whatta hellofa gig it was!

At this point, what I´ve heard, his heart just stopped beating…don´t think it was an overdose, suicide or something like that. He was a nice bloke, always mad me laugh with his stories:)

yep, first there was this damn shooting in that school in Jokela (thank god that my kids were lucky!), then our guinea pig Aave died and now this:( Jakke was a legend in finnish HC punk. He had his hard lifestyle (he never spit in the glas, U know:)) but he was smart and humorious guy. Last time I spent some time with him was two weeks ago when we went to that “Old ones remembers” event. Tried to phone him yesterday to ask if we´d go to abber or two at Vasta Virta klubi but he never answered that call. Now when I got home and to computer, the sad news popped from the finnish punksite.

Sad day…just heard that a good friend of ours moved to punks heaven last nite. R.I.P Jakke 1965-2007.

T? & New Model Army in Köln on the 22nd of Dec; this is in on the 1st place which we´re waiting for! Jihhhhaaa, roll on December!

Kaatopaikan enkelit & Karanteeni @ Vasta Virta Klubi here in Tampere last Sat. It was pt 2 of “The old ones remember the old days” night and the agelimit was 35 years:) Great nite, took three days to recover from it:)

Thanks Claus! The damn fright will stay in their minds for a long time. Cannot imagine how those people feel who lost their kids and relatives. My kids were lucky being in another place in the school that day and not meeting the lunatic face to face. Thank god they didn´t even see any shot bodies. This sick bastard had shot over 20 shots per his victim and he had over 300 shots in his pockets when the cops found him almost dead in one of the toilets.

Been phoning with both of my daughters several times and they are really shocked and still frightened. But I know they will survive through this as they have got my blood in their veins. End of the “childhood” in a horrible way for many of the yougsters there in that little Jokela village:( This was really a shock in our safe little European home.

One fuckin madman shot eight people dead in a school in Jokela this aftenoon here in Finland, thank god my daughters Heta and Henriikka are safe and alive. They happen to go to that same school on eight and ninth class. It has NEVER happened this kinda thing in this safe little country and I HOPE it never will again. I´m still kinda shocked at the moment…
