Re: Little John Rocket… in Other Bands & Artists
“A warm hello to you our newsletter friend from Little John Rocket.
Our new single BASEMENT is out now!!!
Little John rocket has found out it does not take as many downloads of a song to get into the charts (top 100) as you would think! Other than us wanting you to download and own BASEMENT since it is a great RICO produced track… we want to crack the chart. BUT we can only do it with your help.
So, we want YOU to personally be involved in getting a band into the charts. How hard can it be!?!?!
And there are only 2 simple things you have to do.
Download BASEMENT our single from iTunes or Napster for a mere 79p
Copy this message and pass it on in an email to all your address book friends that would like to help a band storm the charts, so they may download it and pass this message on too!
It takes no time at all to download (the important bit)…
… and think of it less as a chain letter… and more of a way for you and your friends to get your own back on the charts with genuine independent music! If we can prove it can be done… then anyone can do it… SO JOIN THE EXPERIMENT.
We only have a ‘3 DAY’ window form right now to do this… so PLEASE click on the link below, (no mp3 player… well.. get involved anyway!!! :-)
And then pass this on to your friends in your address book that would help in the chart music struggle.
We will keep you up to date of how the campaign goes… come on… lets “raid the charts”.
Thank you, x
Don’t hesitate, it needs everyone, act now to claim back the charts.
This is a link to our official site where there is a direct link to either iTunes or Napster for you. http://www.littlejohnrocket.com/audio.html
or search iTunes for Little John Rocket (BASEMENT)”

Re: What’s EveryOne watching in Chit-Chat
daryl… you know in Dr Who on Saturday? Why was that man old? Cause if they were making all of these ‘generations’ but they were only 7 days old and everyone else looked well young then what was he doing there being all beardy?

Re: How come? in Your Feedback & Suggestions
Erm, I don’t know. Is it that important? I can sneak it on to the end of Rene’s to-do list if you distract him.

Do you have tabbed browsing on the browser you use? The filter at our school is confounded by them :)

Re: Weirdest place you’ve found something Therapy? in General Therapy? Topics
Page 82 of an old Sean Hughes novel called ‘It’s What He Would Have Wanted’:
Sean Hughes wrote:
“Shea, this is Catrina and Alison and they have kindly invited us to the Therapy? gig at the Astoria. Apparently the girls know the support act.”
“‘Do you like Therapy??’ she asked. ‘Not really,’ I replied, rusty at date-speak. She was quiet after that.”
“Back at the bar, it was quieter as Therapy? were on stage - we didn’t bother watching them, nor did another fifty or so people who obviously preferred the sound of their own voices to the primal boom of Andy Cairns’s.”
“Suddenly there was a big cheer as the singer announced it was the merchandiser’s birthday. He looked embarrassed and turned to us and said, ‘It’s just part of the show, they do this every night.’ They referred to him as ‘Mary’, probably because of his big girl’s laugh.”
“It was coming to the end of the gig and Therapy? started playing a few numbers I actually recognised. As soon as the band had left the stage the crowd began streaming out like meek sheep but with worse jumpers.”

Good call, or a simple ‘contact me via the brilliant messaging function on the WoM’ would do ;)

Re: Guilty Pleasures in Chit-Chat
I am unashamed of my allegedly crap taste in music and television. I guess reading the works of Mike Gayle, Marian Keyes etc could count as a guilty pleasure though, it is utter tripe.

Re: RIP Humph :’( in Chit-Chat
@Muskeg - I don’t actually see me being off topic.
I’d say I’d listen at work mum but I’ll probably get all over emotional :( I’m sure it will be on listen again though, though how they expect to pay adequate tribute in a mere 45 minutes, I’m not sure. *campaigns for Humph FM 24 hour broadcasting*
