Re: Hallo in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
Hia
I’m glad Roxy said Crash, I was thinking Born would be an odd nickname :)
Do you have any info on what Fyfe is up to these days? I haven’t heard anything since the Little Less Nothing single. I do have one of his drumsticks, though Fyfe didn’t sign it. Actually, he didn’t even give me it - Michael did. I hope he had a spare, lol.
Look forward to chatting with you :D

Re: Boo! in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
Yey! I was having a rant elsewhere on the board about Stories ruining Infernal Love (along with Bowels of Love, of course).
I love Semi-Detached and somewhere between that and SP:YF is my favourite album I think. It had some really strong songs, probably my favourites, such as Safe and Straight Life but I really wasn’t keen on Church of Noise or Don’t Expect Roses so I don’t think it works as well as SP:YF as a whole album.

Re: Boo! in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
Hi Silveria
Welcome to Wall of Mouths :D
It’s a shame you didn’t get to see them live - on one tour here in the UK they had Skunk Anansie supporting them (along with the outstanding Schtum) - excellent line up!
Anyway, I look forward to chatting with you (just not about Korn ;))

Re: hi all… in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
Yey a Northerner!
Hia Lee, I’m from Leeds but living in N Yorks at the moment. How’d ya get into Therapy? ? I first heard them at a gig in February ‘94.

Re: Hello all. in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
Yeah, it’s not promising.
I missed them last time they were in England too :(

Re: Hello all. in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
Absolutely. People who don’t know them ask me who they sound like and I love that I can say “no one”!
I’ve seen them live god knows how many times…I was working for people touring with them in 1995 which was amazing. Totally worth your while when they’re next nearby!

Re: Hello all. in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
Well if I had a table I’d ask you not to or we’d all have to kneel, which would be unfortunate. Good party trick though ;)
Are you a big Therapy? fan too?

Hey Hairy Joe, or is it just Bob?
Nice to make your acquaintance.
An Irish accent automatically qualifies you in the sex appeal stakes ;)
Are you a big Joy Division fan?

Congratulations on finding us :)
Your triangular face thingy is called a gemil, I have one on my arm

Re: help me work stuff in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
Hi BritneyBaby
Okay, being a girlie girl myself I shall try and help. There is a link to your “control panel” at the top of the page, in there you will see options to add to your buddy / ignore list. I haven’t actually used the buddy option so i don’t know what it does, but it’s there if you want to find out :)
To subscribe to a thread, click on the link at the bottom of the thread. You will then be emailed when there is a new post to read.
When you post a reply you can click on the option to have a smiley at the top of your post. If you want one in the middle then just type it in (e.g. : ) but with no spaces) and the board will convert it for you.
I think that was everything ;)

Re: Another newbie ;) in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
Hello all
Ooh, am I really the only mum? I should add that I’m only 21 so I don’t feel too old to be here!
Heh heh, there are some cool names here - I particularly like Daisy, that’s my daughter’s name ;) Hoochalobster comes from an Eddie Izzard sketch but it is waaaaay too long a story to go into, lol

Another newbie ;) in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
Title: Another newbie ;)
Hello there
Just thought I’d formally introduce myself to you all and say bonjour…Bonjour!
5 Therapy? related facts about me:
1. Yesterday I payed £50 on ebay for a copy of Meat Abstract, I have come here because I get the feeling you’re the only people in the world who won’t think I’m nuts.
2. I have a gemil tattooed on my right upper arm.
3. I first saw Therapy on 27/02/94 at Leeds T&C - a gig attended purely on a whim, I’d never heard them before. I met them briefly afterwards for autographs and they’ve been my favourite band ever since (incidently the B sides to Die Laughing were recorded at that gig).
4. My best claim to Therapy? fame is that I did Andy and Michael’s laundry on the ‘95 Infernal Love tour (if anyone remembers being harrassed to buy raffle tickets to win signed Therapy? stuff, that was me ;) ). Andy thanked me for not stealing his socks, however I did, rather tragically, take photos of their clothes in the laundrette. Please don’t think I’m a crazy stalker type, I was drunk.
5. I had a ticket to see them at Leeds Cockpit on the 2nd of December last year but wasn’t able to go as I’d just given birth and couldn’t walk. Believe me I tried, lol. My sister took my ticket but ended up on the guest list and met them - didn’t even bother to get me an autograph though. Hmph.
Anyways, great to meet you all
Cheers
