Re: A big rant. in Chit-Chat
Well at 14 I could pass for 18 and at 21 I didn’t look 15, oddness. Having said that, I used to work in a newsagents and trying to guess if someone is 16 or not is really hard.

Re: A big rant. in Chit-Chat
Ha! He is called Ralph Macchio - I also do a sideline in being the queen of crap 80s films, lol
I don’t think you can appreciate looking young until you’re old. About a year ago, at the ripe old age of 21 I got IDd in HMV to buy a certificate 15 dvd, I abused the guy so much he finally caved in and let me buy it - the bloody cheek of it all.
Still no luck with your tshirt btw, sorry :(

Re: A big rant. in Chit-Chat
lol yes that’s him, he’s called Paul Hudson. He was covered in way too many old people to get an autograph…I have got Richard Whitley’s though ;)
Apparently Peter Levy was meant to be there but couldn’t make it. PH said this was because he was at an official fan club party…in the telephone box round the corner! Oh how we laughed. I really miss Look North.
Fred Savage was in The Wonder Years and he just doesn’t look any different in AP3, like Michael J Fox. Was the karate kid called Ralph Macchio? It’s bugging me now.

Re: A big rant. in Chit-Chat
Aw, my sister is at the Leeds Carling weekend and judging by the weather has probably drowned in a quagmire by now, lol. I haven’t been to any for a couple of years, way too much cash. I remember going to Reading for a mere £55. Them were the days.
The party was good, we evaded the train strike by having some people come on the Friday and the rest drive. That’ll teach the gits!
The highlight of my weekend has been today though, I went to visit my grandad and they were having a summer fete type thing at the care home next door. We went along and - oh joy of joys - the guest of honour was the weather guy from Look North, yeeeeeeeeey! This probably doesn’t mean much to anybody who doesn’t live near Leeds but it made my day :)

Re: A big rant. in Chit-Chat
I watched Austin Powers 3 again today, which involved lots of comedy moleage. Whatever happened to Fred Savage? He hasn’t aged at all.
I sympathise Kyra, I have friends staying at the moment and already they have bought me teabags, all my drinks, dinner and prepared their own breakfast for the morning.
On the other hand, I just woke up (it’s about 3.45am) on the floor downstairs and discovered my bed has been nicked so the sods owe me anyway.
I have such a hangover, back to the carpet…

Re: Invisible Sun 7” in Therapy? Buy, Sell & Trade
Thanks for your help.
I have the 12” of Be Still and also the 7” bootleg - I was just wondering it’s origins since I generally don’t bother with bootlegs but I got this one for fairly cheap so I don’t mind :)
Alan, did you get your CDs okay? I’ve given up on nochex so I’ll go to town next week and pick up some blanks for the rest. Hope that’s okay hon - still loving the ones you did for me!

Invisible Sun 7” in Therapy? Buy, Sell & Trade
Title: Invisible Sun 7”
Anybody know about the Invisible Sun 7”, kind of aqua/light blue colour? Is it an official release?
Cheers

Re: A big rant. in Chit-Chat
Heh heh heh
Sounds like a plan to me. I don’t know why I’m surprised, they had a strike last time I had a party here. I am beginning to suspect a mole is leaking information and it’s one big conspiracy to ruin my social life once and for all.
Ta chum :)

A big rant. in Chit-Chat
Title: A big rant.
I just really want to scream so I thought I’d come and rant on here for a short while.
I’ve been planning a bank holiday party for months and have arranged for lots of people to come up on Saturday (I live in the countryside, miles away from most of my mates) and I’ve just discovered that the scum of the universe (Arriva trains to people who’ve never met one of the fuckers) have decided to have a strike. All weekend. On the bank holiday. Because they’re bastards and are quite determined to fuck off elsewhere at the slightest hint of someone actually wanting to get on one of their shitty fucking trains.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHH.
I might actually have to kill someone.
Love HoochXXX

Title: Anyone remember WHQuestion?
Hia
I have searched but to no avail, the only thing I found was a Russian Shameless review, which I dutifully translated (online, not myself!). It reads:
The First 4 tracks quite will please anyone òåðàïèñòà with the experience, under some reeves îêóíàåøüñÿ in atmosphere Troublegum, but with sounds Wicked Man on mind(wit) there comes other work 1994 - ïðîâàëüíàÿ ïåðåïåâêà on òðèáüþòå to Black Sabbath with îòâðàòíûì Ozzi Osbourne at a microphone. A tribute to render it is possible for everybody, but what for own creativity to litter?! Identical destiny and at Theme From Delorean, Body Bag Girl, Tango Romeo, Alrite - in a garbage tank - such things do not roll neither on B-side, nor on a curiosity, they are better for not composing at all. It is that twisted punk-metal bastard rock “, that appears on ôóòáîëêå at Andy Cairns.
I don’t think they liked it, lol

Re: Leeds Cockpit 11/12/99 Review in Therapy? Live
Heh heh
My favourite wrestler is The Rock (to the point where my goldfish is called The People’s Fish, lol) and I love Mankind too cause he’s so funny.
Thanks to you (and Evil Elvis) for looking. I spoke to Kerrang! again and they have now revealed that you can only buy back issues from the last six months - d’oh. If I call back and speak to some other woman who had gone home (it was only 4.15, the skiver!) she might be able to tell me which issue it was, which is a start :)

Re: Leeds Cockpit 11/12/99 Review in Therapy? Live
Hia Alex, thanks for that, I always think I’ll remember what songs were played at gigs and I never do!
Update on my quest: I phoned the distributers to find out about back issues and they are available but only if I know which issue I’m looking for - d’oh. The woman I spoke to gave me the publishers number and said they should be able to tell me so then I can order it - woohoo! I shall phone them tomorrow :)

Title: Re: Definition of a pig?
Some men are pigs, some aren’t. Some women are bints, some aren’t.
There’s far too much generalising going on here - take each person on an individual basis, if you label a whole sex as one thing or another you’re going to end up very lonely.
I’ve been out with my share of bastards but for every bad guy there’s a good one waiting, the same for women.
Michael wrote:
Alright people, help me out here, what makes a man (or a woman) a pig? For instance, I like to open a beer bottle with whatever I can use, as long as it saves me from searching an opener (i.e., getting up). I’m talking about lighters, spoons, knives, size AA batteries (!), etc. Like every man, I burp and fart every now and then, I can eat a meal which is supposed to be enough for 2-3 persons ( for instance the so-called family pizzas, ha!), I can sleep in until 4pm, I’m not really subtle, I swear a lot, and so on. Does this make me a pig?
Actually Michael, I think that makes you me ;)

Re: Posters in General Therapy? Topics
Heh heh
I have huge Stories and Troublegum posters, medium Pleasure Death and Nowhere ones (both unofficial), small Semi Detached and a Troublegum one which came free if you bought the album in HMV, it has pics of the singles at the bottom. I will have the fanclub one but it’ll be in my stash of T? memorabilia that no one is allowed to touch ;)
Anyway, I think it’s very sweet of of your parents. My sister hijacked my room before I’d even moved everything out, though I think that was just a cunning ruse to nick my stuff.

Re: Posters in General Therapy? Topics
I have a Pleasure Death poster but it’s unofficial, I bought it from a rip-off merchant outside a gig years ago I’ve never seen a proper one, sorry.

Re: Leeds Cockpit 11/12/99 Review in Therapy? Live
I haven’t got a clue, other than it would have been published within a few weeks of the gig. I’ve searched the Kerrang! website but can’t find anything useful there. I can’t believe I lost it in the first place, if you do find it I would be soooooooo grateful!

When the message boards were changed perhaps people who were already members got it but not people since then. I dunno, I’m guessing.

Re: Sheffield, last November in Therapy? Live
I was meant to be at the Leeds gig on that tour but couldn’t make it, which was totally unjust. My sister went and got on the guest list (I tought her everything she knows about blagging ;)) and apparently they were fantastic. I remember the first time I saw Therapy? (‘94) and how they totally blew me away so I know where you’re coming from. I’d never heard them before that night, were you already a fan?
