I think he said something like: “we will NOT return this year, but in september/october”. So I guess it means next year september/october…

Really good energy, the band seemed to love the feedback from the crowd. The interaction was great!
Too bad they didn’t do any obscure songs like Disgracelands or Straight Life. Now that I’ve seen them play the new songs live, they have much more impact on me then before.

Yeah the condom…lol! I dont think it was used, at least not for what it was meant for.. Just as a toy. It was on the floor monitor all the time and someone in front just threw it onto micheal’s bass…

I’ll start the thread then.. Not really much to comment, except thet it was a really good gig.. The band was in a really good shape, the technical performance surprised me very much. Setlist was great also, though I’d love to hear Jude the obscene or 30 seconds or any infernal love song other than Diane & Stories. Suing God would be nice as well as Fat Camp and Little Tongues First. No Potato Junkie at the end, but that’s allright.
I really liked it when this guy got on stage whil they were playing screamager and he stood there lighting his cigarette, and he just stood there too long… Suddenly they stopped playing and Martin started to shout ‘jump! jump!’ Putting the force of the audience on him he finally jumped… And they started the song right where they stopped it…Excellent smithers..

Anyway de Melkweg was great last night! The place went absolutely bonkers… And they played Opal Mantra… Yi-haa.

Yeah support bands…you just never know. Last year nighttown ticket said there was gonna be a support band, but no band showed up..
We’ll see :)

I will show up in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Utrecht. Btw I think I’m on a photo on therapyquestionmark.co.uk. Ofcourse I’m the only one that can recognise myself because it’s very vague and in the middle of the crowd. It’s in the pics section (there are some pics of last years nighttown gig).

The strangest one for me was at pinkpop 94. I saw a left handed drummer play for the first time in my life. And then there was the noise made by only 3. Still hated T? at that time. So that was the strangest I guess.

I voted for that one as #1. Its definately one of the best songs they played live on the last tour. I also voted for Fat Camp, Bad Karma, Little Tongues & Evil Elvis.
