Well, to be honest I don’t really agree with you, but I don’t agree with MOJO either. I think crowdsurfing is ok, as long as everyone is nice and keeps the surfing within decent limits. I was at a Supergrass gig where it looked like as if there were more crowdsurfers than an actual crowd to carry them. Anyway, I think MOJO set these rules because they were partly bought up by a big American company. And I also agree with people who think crowdsurfers are annoying. Because they can be very annoying.

Something else. At their gig in Nighttown (I think it was Nighttown) this year, they played a Johnny Cash song just before they came on stage. Is this the Johnny Cash version of You Are My Sunshine? I should know, because usually I pay more attention to that kind of stuff. But I don’t. Anyone?

Title: did anyone notice?

This may sound a bit stupid, but I always take up details where ever I go, and I remember them. Did anyone notice that there was a T-shirt box with the words: ‘Hate, Kill and get drunk!’ . It was a carton box. I saw this box in de Melkweg, Amsterdam 2000. May have seen it in another places to this year, but I’m not so sure.

Right. I got to the nighttown gig, I spoke with the T-shirt guy, I had a great fucking time, and I waited for like half an hour at the T-shirt stand afterwards to meet Ronald. Something must have sent him (including his ‘afterparty with T? at his home’) skyward, for I didnt meet anyone with that name at all. Instead me and my 2 great friends ran into a guy and a girl waiting for T? to walk out of the backdoor. We got talking and they are very nice people, cheers to you guys if you’re reading this. Anyway next thing we know we were in the nighttown bar with T? and we had a great time talking to the guys. So better next time Ronald :)

All I missed in the setlist was Straight Life. Anyway about the support bands… The first band was really ok, mxpx. The second band were a bunch of stupid motherfuckers, god I hated that band. It was called less than jake.

it depends. On the festivals this year they played pretty much the same set all the time, which is kinda dissapointing for the fans who’ve seen T? play live a lot (like me :). Anyway, 013 is a small club and no festival so I geuss they’re gonna play some old stuff but I dont think that much. Ofcourse some covers and a lot of Troublegum. I’m gonna be there in de Melkweg and in Nighttown and just hope they’re gonna play Straight Life. Last year in Paradiso they played songs like Potato Junkie, the usual Troublegum songs, Six mile water and some other stuff from Suicide pact..the rest I cant really remember. Have fun!
