Well, a lot of Cure fans do think it is a waste of money, so I’ve heard. But I don’t agree, I think it’s a good album, defining once again what The Cure is good at. That could mean that it’s a boring album, but it’s not. Besides I think there are some killing lyrics on it. Check it out in the store, and I hope I already convinced you…

Yep, that bassline is one of the greatest I’ve heard too. I got Mixed Up and Bloodflowers. I have heard Desintegration a 1000 times or more I think but I dont have it.
Oh yeah and I got a tape of 17 Seconds. They are one of my favourite bands.

I agree with ya that small club gigs are better usually.
And Opal Mantra : yes it does… I love it too. Especially the thing they did with the guitarchord sample. They sampled a chord and sometimes they put it in together with a snare drum hit. Listen, and you’ll find out what I mean soon enough. I think you will…

Yeah. For instance The Cure. They made a remix album once, its called Mixed Up and it contains versions of older Cure songs remixed. This is about the first whole album of the Cure I ever heard. When I listened to the originals I think the remixes were better, and I still feel that way.

Well, I took a listen again at In the Sand, but still nothing.. I will take a listen at In the Dark later on. But Why do you still care about the music you seem to hate? Just let them be, and fuck em if you don’t like em. See it this way: let them do the dirty job of keeping the big masses happy, and we’ll know better. Besides Kane doing the U2 flashback wasn’t that bad at all. What about all the other bands that did a flashback in those series? I think a lot of them did a nice job. Besides, there always seems to be a bad vibe on covers. What’s wrong with covers?

Ok, I’m not a real reader. But I read a book called ‘Girl, Interrupted’ There’s also a movie based on the book. This book is about a girl that gets locked up in a mental hospital in her late teens. And I think it’s a good book. So maybe give it a try, it’s American btw. It was written by Susanna Kaysen. Better read the book before seeing the movie. The movie is not bad, but totally doesnt have the feel of the book. And the book contains loads more stuff to actually think about while you read it.

And what has Anouk’s ‘In the sand’ has to do with ‘Jude the Obscene’ I just listened to it, yes I have the album, but I don’t hear any connection between those two songs…

Nah…what’s your problem? Who cares if something is commercial or not? Krezip is a cute band, nice music to whistle to. Not that I really care about them. And who cares about girls coming down for Kane. Did you ever see a Silverchair concert..? Besides If you’d really stand out for your principals you wouldn’t bother going there if T? was on the same list. And btw Fred Durst said on MTV once: ‘You know it, I know it - Limp Bizkit sucks, let’s just forget about it’

I love the way you write stuff. Did you ever go to a Silverchair concert? What I saw was 14/17 yr old girls screaming hell. It was like a Backstreet Boys concert. Looked like the same girls, different band. I never been to a Backstreet Boys concert, but I think you know what I mean.

I am an Atheist myself. (what’s in a name..) My parents were catholics, but they decided to raise me without any kind of preference for any religion. I do believe in something supernatural, something unexplainable if you will. But I also believe that the reason why we can’t explain stuff lies simply in the fact that we only know 3 dimensions. (If you know what I mean) Probably the reason why the universe seems to be a space without any borders.

I don’t know if any of you bass players saw the new tabs on teethgrinder.com but I’d like to know wether or not I should continue making them.

Believe me, I would if I had any tabs to share, but like I said I figure it out by hearing. And I never write anything down, my sick mind just remembers all of it for some strange reason. Anyway, if I had the knowledge or some software tool that would make it a piece of cake writing bass tabs for you guys, I’d certainly do it.

I am a bass player as well, in a band. We are a 3 piece rock ‘n roll band. The band is called Soundcheck. Anyway, I dont have any bass tabs for T? I just figured a lot out by hearing.
