The album will be a smash, whether you believe it’s a guns album or an Axl album - I can guarantee you it’ll be number 1 pretty much everywhere, it’s one of the most anticipated records to ever come out. It’ll just be like the Illusion albums’, there were people queuing outside record shops to get their hands on a copy at midnight.

I personally don’t believe it’s a Gun N’ Roses album for the simple fact that the core has pretty much been replaced and it’ll be a completely different chemistry, for one I can guarantee you the current guitarists aren’t/weren’t ‘chasing the dragon’ when they write/wrote riffs. Axl may have a great voice, something I will give him, but he by far in no means misunderstood – the guy has a chip on his shoulder, end of. He’s failed to recognise that the band as a whole helped him achieve the current Guns N’ Roses status, unfortunately like any break up people take sides and as Axl has the name on paper I guess the vast majority of people are on his side.

I don’t know about anyone else but I think I’ve heard pretty much the entire album in some leaked format and it’s way below average. I really find it hard to believe that this is could even be described as a Gun N’ Roses album, it may be on paper (excellent move Axl by the way you dope) but it isn’t in essence - it’s merely Axl W. Rose ‘of Gun N’ Roses fame’ in session

I checked out two of the tracks last night, The day that never comes & My Apocalypse. They do sound like a return to proevious style but I found TDTNC repatative after listening to it a few times.

I’m in two minds whether to get the album or not

I think personally Airbourne are doing a better job at music like this these days but it’s still better than all the other pish around these days

Open Your Eyes is an great album, really well produced with bundle of great tracks. Me and the misses have tickets to see them in Sydney next month when we’re on holiday in oz visiting her sister, not seen them live before so hope they’ll be good

Yeah I quite liked stone temple pilots, I think Scott’s voice suited their style a little more.

I was a fan of VR for their first album, I liked the single from the ast one but as a whole album I thougt it was quite weak

Personnaly OI rememeber how long it took them to find a singer, and the best they found was Scott, so I’m guessing thats the end for Slash and co

Just bought Down’s & Serj Tankian new albums.

I’d have to say Serj is my fav so far - anyone who likes SOAD will defo agree! Down’s new album starts off great, but kind of loses me half way through, I probabaly just need to give it a bit more of a chance
