What about radio sessions and the Fan Club releaes? Those aren’t copyrighted. And Jobrok- I got my B-sides bootleg from you, man! Yeah, I’ll put up different stuff so. Seeing as there isn’t really a Links section in the site anymore, I think we should have an unofficial fansite network or something…

Oh! Mickey…
Just clicked it’s you.

I need to do a major overhaul of my T? Webpage.
Thinking of stripping it down completely! And just have it as a T? rare tracks page.
Leave the tracks I have up and include links to as many other rare tracks as possible.

Re: Fansite Upload Rules in General Therapy? Topics

This is just a suggestion.
I don’t mean to sound bossy or anything! But!

Maybe you shouldn’t bother including any tracks that are already on my T? Webpage ;
http://www.freewebs.com/jobrok1/therapydownloads.htm

Freeweb sites have limited storage space and can only hold a handfull of MP3’s.
Just include the above link and upload any songs that I don’t have listed. That way there are more rare T? tracks available to fans.
Likewise! I will add your link to my webpage too.

Kind of like a mini T?net.(cheesy or what ;) )

Yeah! I suppose I’d better correct that on the webpage. Seeing as I no longer own that one.

Re: Stupid Question of the Day… in General Therapy? Topics

Check if the CD does the same thing in an ordinary CD player. If it plays the tracks in the correct order, then it’s just a fault with your computer reading the CD correctly.

WHY! ARE YOU DEAF

Do you ever let up “One Cure Fits All” bashing…?

It’s getting really tired.

Re: Exclusive Therapy? Webgig in General Therapy? Topics

Well! I’m quite happy with it. :)

I got 2 of my choices on the setlist.
Suing God and Evil Elvis.

Yes! there could have been a few more oddball songs. But it was a vote. The fairest way for all fans, WoMbles and non-WoMbles, to pick a setlist. Why should someone who may have just happened to hear about this gig, but hasn’t heard any recent T? songs pick songs they don’t know.
T? were very popular around TROUBLEGUM and a lot of people may have voted only knowing some of those songs.

Look at it this way! Everyone is entitled to vote. But what you think are the best choices may not always win.

I mean! G.W.Bush was elected president of the U.S. Twice!!!
Just proves that it doesn’t always go the way you may want it

Re: Exclusive Therapy? Webgig in General Therapy? Topics

It was surely to be expected that the obvious regulars would make it in. At least we got a couple of oddball tracks on the setlist.

And it is good to hear that only 9% of the votes were from WoM members. Means that there is a good public interest in the band outside this forum.

The band could have gone about this gig a few different ways. This way being the easiest and most accessable to all fans, WoMbles and casual.

Maybe they could do a count of just the WoMble votes. And record 2 or 3 extra tracks that were voted for most by us and didn’t make it onto the 12 song setlist.
These songs could then be available only for WoMbles to buy through this website.
Sounds like a good compremise to me…! ;)

Please do something like that!!!!

Maybe we’ll have the set list today!

fingers crossed.

Re: Exclusive Therapy? Webgig in General Therapy? Topics

Yeah! Don’t mind me… today!
I’m just looking for a reason to bitch and moan.

I’ve been moved to a new workstation in the office where I work. It’s a fucking shit location. The dividers between stations are just above desk height so it’s completely visible from one end to the next. Cheap fuckers wouldn’t even buy the tall ones.

Plus the PC they’ve set up for me doesn’t have any of the programs I need to do my work. Our IT Department are a bunch of egotistical cunts who think they are above everyone else. Been onto them loads about setting me up properly, but no good. They will do it when they feel like it.

So basically! I’ve been sitting on my hole for the last two days watching the walls with nothing to do.
And I’m a little bit peeved about it… :mad::mad::mad:

Re: Exclusive Therapy? Webgig in General Therapy? Topics

Why the hell would they be on the list?

OUTRO is just way too short and WHILST I PERSUE… was only ever intended to be a big headfuck to close out SP-YF. There’s way too much distortion, samples etc., to play live. It’s probably an impossible song to play live. Not to mention a hundred years long.

Dr. Bigjoint wrote:

I’d say if you like OCFA you’re not a fan. Fans deserve better albums.

What an absolutely stupid comment…!!!

That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever read on WoM.

If you don’t like the album! That’s fine. Don’t fucking listen to it. Nobody’s forcing you.

So some T? fans aren’t as impressed by OCFA as other T? releases. SO WHAT??? THERAPY? have been slogging away at it for over 15 years. So they didn’t match up to YOUR expactations this time. Well they did match up to most other T? fans expectations.

Now give it fucking rest about how shit YOU think OCFA is.
We’ve read it all a hundred times already on this forum from the same handful of people who keep dredging it up.
All you’re doing is shit stirring.

SUING GOD is one of T?’s best tracks. I couldn’t believe they chose it as a b-side when I first heard it.

Nice one! “Teethgrinder” :D

Re: Exclusive Therapy? Webgig in General Therapy? Topics

They should make up artwork for the CD and DVD labels also.
Either to send with the cover or to download with the tracks.

With the downloaded artwork and just a CD-R in the case, the other download singles just don’t seem complete.

Re: Exclusive Therapy? Webgig in General Therapy? Topics

FANTASY BAG (cause it’s the first T? song I ever heard)

SUING GOD and EVIL ELVIS.
(cause these b-sides are as good as any T? album track and I’d love to hear and see the them being played live.

They should do like ANTHRAX did and invite a bunch of fans into the studio for the day to watch the recording.
How feckin’ cool would that be…!!!!

Re: So much for the 20 year plan in General Therapy? Topics

Well! Whatever album tracks go on it.
They should have a 2CD version again, with all the download and 7” b-sides they have done so far, plus whatever future ones they do.

Just got a reply from T? merch.

IRELAND is classed as EUROPE from the UK.

T-Shirts from T? shop in General Therapy? Topics

Title: T-Shirts from T? shop

I was checking out the t-shirts in the merchandise page…
http://www.therapyquestionmark.co.uk/merchandise/

The postal address to send payment for orders is in IRELAND. But the currrency is in £St.

So are they sent from the UK or IRELAND?

And also! If from the UK, is IRELAND covered under the UK shipping costs or the EUROPE shipping costs.

The reason I’m asking is because I’ve been cought out by this on UK based websites a few times.
Some give the same shipping costs as UK. Some ask for EUROPE shipping costs. And others ask for a price in between.

I just want to make sure before I order a t-shirt.

I’ve already emailed the T? merch email address, but I find that questions get answered a lot quicker by posting them here…

Re: Who is on the cover of Trigger Inside? in General Therapy? Topics

Hahaha…

Fair enough! I’ll give in.

But under protest.

Maybe we should have a sub-pole to determine how far a list member has to go to be either gay or cannabilistic.

Re: Who is on the cover of Trigger Inside? in General Therapy? Topics

Ah! Come on, like…!!!

Just because his victims were all female, and he didn’t take it up the jacksy doesn’t mean he wasn’t gay.

By all accounts, he was a pretty ugly and strange man.
Used to be bullied in his childhood for looking demented and talking and laughing to himself for no reason.

Not exactly good pick-up tactics at yourt local gay bar.

But anyway!
Making woman suits out of human skin.
The man wanted to be a woman. That has to qualify as being somewhat gay. Well it sure as hell isn’t heterosexual.

GAYER than Christmas.
GAYER than Westlife.

Re: Who is on the cover of Trigger Inside? in General Therapy? Topics

I found the info below about Ed Gein on Wikipedia…

He may not have been a cannibal in the strictest sense of the word, but eating out of skull caps and the human heart that they found in a saucepan in his kitchen, would have to point towards a little cannibalism.

And the “Mammary Vest”. He tried to make himself look female. Which is GAY in my book….

Searching the house, authorities found:

1. severed heads acting as bedposts in the bedroom

2. skin used to make lampshades and upholster chair seats

3. skullcaps made into soup bowls

4. a human heart (it is disputed where the heart was found. the deputies’ reports all claim that the heart was in a saucepan on the stove);

5. a face mask made out of real facial skin found in a paper bag

6. a necklace of human lips

7. a waistcoat, called a “mammary vest,” made up of a vagina and breasts. (“Buffalo Bill” from Silence Of The Lambs is based on this.

8. Other items fashioned from the parts of human bodies, including a belt made from nipples.

Above all, Gein’s most infamous creation was an entire wardrobe fabricated of human skin consisting of leggings, a gutted torso (including breasts) and an array of tanned, dead-skin masks that looked leathery and almost mummified.

Under questioning, Gein eventually admitted that he would dig up the graves of recently buried middle-aged women he thought resembled his mother and take the bodies home, where he tanned their skin to make his macabre possessions.
After his mother died, Gein had begun to think often of castration and even considered a sex-change operation, but couldn’t afford it. One writer describes Gein’s practice of putting on the tanned skins of women as an “insane transvestite ritual.

At some point, Gein decided he wanted a sex change, although it is a matter of some debate whether or not he was transgendered; by most accounts, he created his “woman suit” so he could pretend to be his mother, rather than achieve a change in gender identity. [3]

Re: Who is on the cover of Trigger Inside? in General Therapy? Topics

Lets not forget about Ed Gein (I think thats how its spelt.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is loosely based on him.

And SLAYERs “Dead Skin Mask” is about him.

Re: Therapy? & Kerrang Mag in General Therapy? Topics

When I clicked on the vote button, I got that error message also.
But when I went back to try again, it said that I had already voted in that catagory. So maybe it goes through even if the error comes up!

Hope so!

Re: Tribute Band in General Therapy? Topics

Fenriz wrote:

The problem with naming a tribute band after a song by the band is that the name has to stike an instant connection with the band, and therefore the song has to be one where you go “wow, that’s a Therapy? song”, and that just doesn’t happen with Deluded Son, cos it’s a very little known Therapy? song.

Thus if you name a Therapy? tribute band after one of their songs, the band could only be called Screamager or Teethgrinder.

THE POTATOE JUNKIES

nuff said…!!! I think.

Re: What was the first and/or last song you heard by therapy?? in General Therapy? Topics

I think the first T? song I ever heard was either FANTASY BAG or SKINNING PIT.
Actually! It was definitely FANTASY BAG. I remember that the line “I can’t wait to get away” was stuck in my head for ages after I first heard it.
It was on an RTE TV show called Electric Ballroom, I think. They were doing a studio report on the band while they were recording PLEASURE DEATH.

And the last T? song was FREEZE THE REMAINS.

Re: itunes only Therapy? song in General Therapy? Topics

It’s on the CD with the latest edition of ROCKSOUND magazine. Just got it yesterday. See the link below.

Yeah! it’s expensive for just one track, but there are plenty of other good songs on it, and the mag itself is an OK read.

Plus it’s good to have the track on a physical CD.

I put all the b-sides on CD for myself.

Took up 5 disks.

And that’s only up to HIGH ANXIETY.

Re: cd singles in General Therapy? Topics

If record companies own the recordings and the bands own the live recordings, where does that leave the b-sides from RHC E.P.

The band went and recorded them seperate to the album recording. And there is no physical CD or anything.

So! who owns those recordings?

Re: Rain Hits Concrete - Opinions? in General Therapy? Topics

I agree!

I just listened to the whole album on the link given on another thread, and have to say that the songwritting on the new album sounds excellent. Well done Lads!

These comments about poor production are a load of horseshit! The audio samples on the link are good, but obviously have been doctored a bit.
They tried to get rid of the “TINGY” sound on website audio samples which kinda drowned out the drums a bit. That was one complaint, if I remember correctly!
The volume of the samples have been turned up to try to increase the quality of the sound samples, but just doesn’t quite make it right. This would account for the sloppy production complaint.

Just listen to the samples of SPRUNG and RHC and compare them to the “T? My Space” sample and the download E.P. and you will notice the difference.

Well! I’ve had the album pre-ordered for ages now and cannot wait for it to be released.
My curiousity has been settled by checking out the audio samples, but now I’m just going to sit back, listen to the E.P. and wait for OCFA to fall through me letterbox in 2 weeks.
