I’d say someone must have made a private offer for the HAMFX 7”. That’s happened to me a couple of times before. And I’ve even done it myself a few times, when I absolutely wanted something listed on eBay.

I promised her ages ago that I’d give her the first chance to buy it from me.
And her offer was a good one, but not completely ridiculous! In my opinion, anyway! I haggled with her a bit, but only to round it off. I was more concerned about letting it go to the right person rather than make a killing on the price. :rolleyes:

Plus! It’s good to see someone with an almost complete T? collection. 30 SECONDS was a big gaping hole in her collection. ;)
I’ve really fallen by the wayside as regards collecting in recent years. I’ve got all the official releases, in all formats. But only a fraction of the promo stuff that is out there.
SOUL DOUBT’s T? collection is by far the most impressive that I’ve come across.

Anyway! Looks like I’ll be holding onto MEAT ABSTRACT demo for another while. PHEEWWW…!!! :rolleyes:

I paid about €500 a few years back for “30 Seconds of Silence” Demo, “Meat Abstract” Demo, Meat Abstract 7”, HAMFX 7”, and a good bunch of other rare promo stuff on CD and Vinyl.

I was really torn at the time! Should I just let it go, or what? But I really wanted to get the Demos and 7”s.

I was on bread and water for a few weeks, but I don’t have any regrets about it. It was a hell of a lot to pay, but I did get all of their rarest releases.

I taped it OK! Was going to try and connect it strasight into my PC through TV card but didn’t get time to set it up. I moved house at the weekend and all my PC bits are in boxes all over the gaff.

So I had to make do with the VCR. I will make a DVD copy at the weekend.

If I get back home early enough tonight, I will record it…

And then I can make DVD copies for whoever wants it.

Yeah! It is pretty crap…

But I just want it to put on a compilation CD I’m making up, of some rare T? tracks. Early versions of songs, Demos, etc.

Got a copy sent to me over the weekend, so I’m good to go now.

Title: Valentine’s Day… again

Does anyone remember a while back there was an MP3 of the T? track Valentine’s Day knocking around. It was an outtake from the SHAMELESS sessions that managed to find its way onto a promo version of the album.

I have a really low quality version that sounds absolutely shite. Does anyone out there have a good bit-rate copy of it that they could email me. Preferably 128kb or more.

It was pretty cheap up until recently.
Selling for no more than £15 or so.

Maybe there just aren’t that many in circulation any more.
It doesn’t seem to show up for sale as often, these days.

Getting rare and more collectable in it’s old age…????

I have 2 of them, myself.
One I bought when it first was released.
The second I got ‘cause it was signed by the band.

Actually I was genuinely thinking of selling…!!!

Banks will only loan you a certain amount, depending on your circumstances. The mortgage from the bank is covering the costs of the building contractor.
But everything else, like kitchen fittings, bathrooms fittings, beds, appliances, etc., is basically down to ourselves to save up for and buy.
We’ve been buying bits and pieces on and off ofer the last year or so. And have quite a bit already. But there’s still a shit load of things we will need.

But like I said previously.
I have a few other things I can sell before I have to turn to my precious T? collection.
Even if I can only afford to hold on to them for another few months before I’m forced to sell, I’ll take those few months over any amount of cash.

Also! I don’t need to go fishing to see what they are worth.
I know exactly what they’re worth…!!!

A lot more than any amount of money that anyone could ever offer.

But anyway!!!
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I won’t have to sell!

I’ve recieved a good lot of emails about the above T? items. And I’ve been given some very good offers.
BUT…!!!!!!!

I’ve been beating myself up all weekend over this, and I’ve decided that I can’t do it. Not yet anyway! I’ll end up hating myself if I sold these T? items…
It’s taken me years to build up the collection I have and most of that time was spent looking out for and trying to get these items.

However! I am building a house. Which is going to cost me a small fortune.
And I have a few other Non-T? things I can get rid of first.
So what I’m going to do is wait for a while. See how we manage with money and stuff for the build. And between now and the end of the year, if I really, absolutely, definitely have to sell. I will!!!!

Sorry if I got your hopes up about these T? items.
But I’m sure you can all understand where I’m coming from.
