Re: Nurse in General Therapy? Topics

It’s all a matter of opinion. As far as I’m concerned, the smell of a sizzling bit of pig flesh is one of the finest known to humanity :)

Bacon’s fucking great. I won’t hear a bad word against the meat.

Re: Nurse in General Therapy? Topics

Greggs’ Bacon and Cheese savoury sandwiches (in a brown bap) are well tasty. But they have serious quantities of raw onion in them.

A lunchtime of fun for me, an afternoon of hell for my work colleagues.

I hope Mr Dimbleby provided you with a dash o’ pickle?

No, it’s recorded earlier in the evening so I was home in time to watch it (plus the mate who came with me was taping it ;)). I did, however, tape the one with Eddie Izzard on!

Sneaky buggers, I thought it was live. That Dimbleby, he’s a right sly get. And his brother’s not much better either ;)

No, I didn’t get to speak but you got a good view of half of my head when the person in front of me did :D

I was gutted cause all the panel were crap, I really wanted to go to the one with Eddie Izzard or something like that.

You taped it! :)

Oi! I suppose he might also have found me strange because I was asking him to sign my notebook which says “Notorious” on the front and has a Mills & Boon style picture of a couple kissing. Perhaps it was a little inappropriate for Question Time.

Hah, did you ask any questions?

I once asked for his autograph and when I proffered a pen he seriously looked at me like I was going to stab him with it and insisted on using his own. Weird guy.

I don’t blame him. Anyone who asks for David Dimbleby’s signature has to be a bit weird! ;)

I had to cover for a guy in work who had to be Pudsey for Children in Need - apparently there are only three Pudseys in Northern Ireland. Not a lot of people know that.

Oh, and Nurse does kick ass.

Hah hah :) Was he proud?

Believe me, Pudsey is nothing in comparison to the site of the BBC newsreaders performing a medley of Rocky Horror in full drag.

Worst of all? Huey wasn’t even there :(

Hah hah, who was the Tranvestite from Transylvania? Nicholas Witchell? Heh heh :)

Just lots of drinks and smokes with a few mates :) Anything to escape the one-eyed stuffed horror that is Pudsey The Bear ;)

Still looking ;) *on a mission*

Found this:

3rd paragraph, 6th line down. Neil Hannon and Andy Cairns sharing a fashion - who would ever believe it?

Hmmm…leading to the obvious conclusion that it IS a band shirt, and a band who formed in 1987 (it says this on the t-shirt).

Cheers and keep up the sleuthing, Hoocha! ;)

t-shirt? in General Therapy? Topics

Title: t-shirt?

Anyone know whether the t-shirt Andy wears in the Shameless booklet is a T? shirt (the “Twisted Punk Metal Bastard Rock” one), and where I can get it?

I like it, and I want one!

Heh heh, League of Gentlemen, yet another classic.

I meant order the CD off the net.

Did you look in Crash records on the Headrow? ;)

Watched Spaced for a bit but went off it. Preferred Simon Pegg when he was in Alan Partridge and Big Train.

Get PHM off the net ;)

I am also straining my memory to remember where your biography quote comes from, but I just can’t remember. Some dark comedy I think? :)

I bought Nurse after hearing Nausea on a Metal mag cover CD, in 1992.

Re: Worst Therapy? Songs in General Therapy? Topics

I’m not too keen on their more ‘upbeat’ numbers. So Church of Noise or Loose get my vote.
