Paradise Lost’s cover of the Sisters’ classic ‘Walk Away’ is simply…horrible.

Great album - distinctly baggytastic, with elements of the Primals, BRMC, and TCTC…recommended.

Cool, I shall definitely get it next week.

Most goths over the age of sixteen don’t go around feeling sorry for themselves or being really miserable all the time. A lot of goth bands often have their tongues firmly in cheek - the Sisters and Bauhaus especially.

Still listening to the latest Ministry album - pure fucking class.

Dame Judi Dench is shit-hot on those drums.

I haven’t got a problem with their music being used in adverts. It’s not like Robert Smith ever went around claiming The Cure was an anti-capitalist punk band or something.

Random Senser-related fact: I remember Jules Hodgson (who was in Lodestar with Senser’s singer and is now in KMFDM) when he used to busk with his electric guitar in Leeds city centre, about twelve years ago! :)

Went out and bought it, pretty darn good. “No W” is class, with the sample from the music off the old Old Spice aftershave adverts!

A quick search of the net informed me that Rick’s now a solo artist, and big chums with Joe “Def Leppard” Elliot - who produces his records.

Which was enough to make me chuck my copy of Powertrippin’ back in the cupboard from whence it came.

I’ve just discovered the Almighty were still going until quite recently, and Ricky Warwick is Irish, before anyone corrects me ;)
