Re: Ministry - House Of The Mole in Other Bands & Artists
Went out and bought it, pretty darn good. “No W” is class, with the sample from the music off the old Old Spice aftershave adverts!

I wouldn’t go saying things like that near the Scissor Sisters, you’d be asking for trouble ;)

Cool, glad to hear the absence of Mr Barker and Mr Brownstone didn’t affect the recording process :)

Re: Ministry - House Of The Mole in Other Bands & Artists
I’ll drag this one back from the depths…to get some more confirmation that their new album’s pretty good?
I’ve just been listening to my old Ministry CDs, dunno why they’d been in a box in my cupboard for so long, to be honest. Land of Rape and Honey is class, way ahead of its time…

Re: Top Ten Rock Albums. in Other Bands & Artists
Come on people, let’s not allow the US to dominate this top ten!
Iron Maiden’s debut has got to be in there somewhere! Led Zep too.

Re: Dave Grohl/NIN in Other Bands & Artists
I’d go so far as to say he’s downright cheerful. The c#nt. :p

Re: Dave Grohl/NIN in Other Bands & Artists
He’s a good drummer and all, but he doesn’t really fit into the NIN vibe, does he?

Heh, I’d forgotten all about that :)

Re: The Almighty in Other Bands & Artists
I dunno if Rick’s still married to Vanessa. I do know, however, that I used to think she was something of a rock fox.
A quick search of the net informed me that Rick’s now a solo artist, and big chums with Joe “Def Leppard” Elliot - who produces his records.
Which was enough to make me chuck my copy of Powertrippin’ back in the cupboard from whence it came.

Re: The Almighty in Other Bands & Artists
I’ve just discovered the Almighty were still going until quite recently, and Ricky Warwick is Irish, before anyone corrects me ;)

The Almighty in Other Bands & Artists
Title: The Almighty
Anyone else remember these hairy Scottish motherfuckers, from the early 90s?
Just dug out “Powertrippin’”, and it’s pretty class, actually.

Heh. Morrissey really is a miserable c#nt, isn’t he? :)

Re: morrissey - you are the quarry… in Other Bands & Artists
So guys and gals, how would we feel about a Morrissey/Marr reunion?
I’d like to see it happen, thought the last interview I read with him he was going on about being a huge fan of loads of weirdy beardy folk guitarists from the 70s

I don’t think he was saying that, mate. At least, I hope not. I know Smith’s got big hair, but it ain’t by any stretch of the imagination an afro.

Re: morrissey - you are the quarry… in Other Bands & Artists
I’ve read mixed reviews. The Guardian’s was pretty good, basically pointing out that most of his lyrics are redundant (ie. the one about being proud of the Union Flag - Spice Girls/Britpop made that point years ago; America not being the world - like we didn’t know that already etc.)

You forgot to specify a year in which you’d like to have been pissed on by the fair Debbie.
Therefore I’m assuming you’re a fan of O.A.P. watersports.

If it was Debbie Harry (circa 1979), I’d drink it.

Just get A Slight Case Of Overbombing. It’s a greatest hits album, and is cool.
And, if I remember correctly, it’s in the HMV sale for a fiver.
Oh, and they were formed in Leeds. Yeeeaah.
