Bettie, I think…I love you.

Re: Ey oop Leeds? in Therapy? Live
Only negatives about the gig: fat pricks down the front throwing their weight about at the end (one of whom I may have accidentally elbowed in the ribs), and the mild embarrasment felt when singing along to the chorus of Potato Junkie - whilst stood next to my little sis :p

Nick Oliveri is touring with Mark Lanegan in the UK? He wasn’t in Germany. :(
No idea, just couldn’t think of any other reason for him to be in Leeds!

Col: Yep, Nick Oliveri came on and screeched for the last WD song, pretty cool. Apparently Mark Lanegan played the Cockpit the night before, so he must just have got ‘stuck’ in Leeds :p
I can’t believe the majority of the crowd wanted Loser Cop over Animal Bones…aaagh!

Re: Ey oop Leeds? in Therapy? Live
Just back. My opinion - thumbs up. But they need to start with more energetic songs (though I’m way too drunk to remember what the first two tracks actually were). Excellent Potato Junkie…and I got to crowd-surf to Screamager :) It has to be said that the boys worked the crowd brilliantly all night.
Oh, and White Psycho - your bird is well fit :p

Cool, just saw a feller who looked a bit like you ambling round Leeds city centre the other week…with a T? patch safety-pinned to his back pocket. As you do.

Re: Ey oop Leeds? in Therapy? Live
Do you wear a T? patch on your back pocket by any chance?

I would, if I ever needed to use an umlaut. I just want the option of being able to instantaneously type them :p

My keyboard’s ancient, it doesn’t hold with these new-fangled compose keys.

I have to admit - I wish I knew how to type umlauts.

I’ve always said that what this board lacks is a bit of Swedish.

Cool. Just don’t make your girlfriend get in the car with you. When you’re in intensive care after crashing into a tree, I’ll be sure to show her the town.

Excellent, bigger venues too.
Hopefully I’ll get a chance to apologise for vomiting on their tour bus in December :p

Lucky guys, they’ll be enjoying the aroma of semi-digested fish and chips for the rest of the tour :)

Apparently there’s a “Punk, Ska, Metal and Emo” clubnight at the Cockpit after the gig, if anyone’s interested.
Hooch, bring your Emo glasses and cap, if you are!

I *think* we’re all meeting in the Cockpit bar mate, which is right near the train station. See you Tuesday :)

Christ, we’re up to 100+ posts just on the Leeds gig - it better be bloody good after all this anticipation! ;)

Fuck it, if it finishes early we head next door to the bar. And after that, those who can make it head into town for yet more merriment… ;)

Yes, back in’t day, before the managers realised it was rather an amusingly rude name for a pub. They probably started attracting just a male gay crowd ;)

Re: They’re playing Leeds!!! :D in Therapy? Live
It just occured to me - half of the Cockpit (“The Rocket”) is a bar/pub anyway, and obviously plays rock music.
Might be worth checking it’s definitely open pre-gig, a task I shall leave to Webmonkeys less lazy then me.
