Re: New James Bond? in Chit-Chat

Hell yeah. He could use his expert potter skills to fire projectiles at baddies from his spinning wheel of death.

Re: Teachers in Chit-Chat

I wish schools were really like the one in ‘Teachers’. The wackiest mine’s got so far was the staff trip to see Bridget Jones 2 at the cinema. Needless to say, I declined the invite.

Re: New James Bond? in Chit-Chat

No way would Johnny Bond be driving around in a Jag. It’d be a white van, with an offensive sticker on the rear window. “Fuck shaken or stirred, just pour a pint of the bastard.”

It wouldn’t have been just farm slurry in that case, but tar, pebbles, molten syrup, and skunk’s piss as well :p

Can’t you all just sit around the entrance, eating burgers, and going “hur hur”, or something?

I’d like to see Johnny Vegas as the new Bond.

I don’t come on this board expecting to be solicited by filth.

I go on other boards for that :p

If you’re searching for T? stuff, leave the “?” off. Which irritates pedantic msd.

Mainly real-life people though…

Re: Which is better Big Mac or Whopper? in Chit-Chat

McDonalds et al are truly hellish places. Horrible food, depressing environment, exploited and terribly paid staff, destroyers of local economies and cultures…etc. Needless to say, I don’t go in them.

Re: Ey oop Leeds? in Therapy? Live

Only negatives about the gig: fat pricks down the front throwing their weight about at the end (one of whom I may have accidentally elbowed in the ribs), and the mild embarrasment felt when singing along to the chorus of Potato Junkie - whilst stood next to my little sis :p

Col: Yep, Nick Oliveri came on and screeched for the last WD song, pretty cool. Apparently Mark Lanegan played the Cockpit the night before, so he must just have got ‘stuck’ in Leeds :p

I can’t believe the majority of the crowd wanted Loser Cop over Animal Bones…aaagh!

Re: Ey oop Leeds? in Therapy? Live

Just back. My opinion - thumbs up. But they need to start with more energetic songs (though I’m way too drunk to remember what the first two tracks actually were). Excellent Potato Junkie…and I got to crowd-surf to Screamager :) It has to be said that the boys worked the crowd brilliantly all night.

Oh, and White Psycho - your bird is well fit :p

Cool, just saw a feller who looked a bit like you ambling round Leeds city centre the other week…with a T? patch safety-pinned to his back pocket. As you do.

Re: Ey oop Leeds? in Therapy? Live

Do you wear a T? patch on your back pocket by any chance?
