Re: The Office in Chit-Chat
imho Alex Parks was rubbish. Bad voice, sang boring songs, and looked a bit weird.
Now Peter, there was one cool guy :)

I agree with Tightrope Walker. It’s pretty fucking negative.

New Year’s Resolutions in Chit-Chat
Title: New Year’s Resolutions
Mine are to drink and smoke as much as I did last year and I have to say, I’m doing pretty well so far.

Placebo… in Other Bands & Artists
Title: Placebo…
…are shit.
I wouldn’t shed a tear if that whining bald midget Bernard Moloko, or whatever the fuck his name is, was doused in concrete and then dropped into a very deep lake.
Bloody moaning little tosser that he is.
And don’t get me started on that big goon of a bassist.

Re: I think I’ve gone insane! in Chit-Chat
Sounds like you’ve got a poltergeist, pal.
I’ll come round your house in my vicar’s outfit and perform an exorcism, if you’re up for it.

Re: Happy New Year! in Chit-Chat
Top quality, cheers.
Snogged an eighteen year old, got pissed, had a snowball fight, and sang a rousing rendition of “I’m dreaming…of a white New Year” to loud applause. Not in that order, I should add.

Fuck me, I feel as rough as a badger’s arse.

Re: I think I’ve gone insane! in Chit-Chat
Whilst travelling this summer I hardly got much sleep at all for two months, and was drinking vast quantities of alcohol every day, and I thought I was losing my mind on several occasions.
Plenty of staying in bed and stopping drinking spirits when I got home sorted me out, though :)

It was a stroke of genius having the bloke off the Halifax adverts (“Who gives you ex-tra?!”) in it.

Re: music dvd’s that let you down in Chit-Chat
As I’m not getting a DVD player ‘til the 25th (if I’ve been a good boy this year - so, maybe I’m not), I can’t really comment.
You have excellent taste in music, though. ;)

Yeah. Andy has a bit-part, as a gay transvestite prostitute.

Re: Nirvana in Other Bands & Artists
I think I am probably irritating people, by consistently turning threads into conversations. ;)
So I shall get back on-topic by saying that Dave Grohl is a great drummer. And a bloody nice bloke, by all accounts.

Well, you should have realised by now that this place isn’t full of miserable Kurt-loving Grungers, and so you should never have been wary of expressing your opinion :p

I’d piss myself if she handed you a Status Quo album on Christmas Day.

I wasn’t slagging off the Shameless album. Otherwise I’d have called the thread “Shameless…is shit”.

Agreed. I think he was a completely self-absorbed weirdo with little regard for the effect his suicide would have on his kid, wife, bandmates, and impressionable fans.
Strange to think he was my hero when I was a fifteen.

Re: Nirvana in Other Bands & Artists
I think they’ve always been over-rated. Kurt Cobain was a fuck-up idiot, and their best music is heavily influenced by other bands (i.e. The Pixies)…

A great band, but over-rated.
