I’m a regular texter/song requester on Xfm South Wales and the DJs all kind of know who I am now. In some cases, I’ve got my own fanfare that they play whenever I text in. They even gave me my own half hour stint on there a few weeks ago.

Today I was listening to Stuart Cable’s show (ex-Stereophincs drummer) as I left work. As I was walking out, he said someone had requested a Therapy? song, but he didn’t think he could play it (even Xfm have playlists they have to adhere to). I text him straight away saying I’m a huge T? fan and even have a tattoo and that T? never get played anymore, so he said he’d try and get something on.

After a few songs he said “This is for the girl who text in earlier and for Phil in Swansea, who is a huge Therapy? fan and even has a Therapy? tattoo! Turn up loud, this is Screamager!”

After it finished he was saying what a great band they are and it turned out his producer/co-presenter is a huge fan too. He kep giving me shout outs too, which was cool.

Hahahah! Mourinho! That’s not even a word!

I might have missed the point…

There’s a girl drummer and a girl bassist in my band. We’re like The Magic Numbers, but we rock. And we’re sexier.

Maybe they pulled them all because they’re, you know, crap.

I thought vampirefreaks was aimed at 14 year old bedroom ‘goths’ who love to watch Queen Of The Damned, listen to Korn and bitch about chavs.

There’s also another band called that, but they haven’t done anything for aaaages.

My girlfriend bought a Wesley guitar just before christmas. A leopard print Randy Rhoads style flying V. Not to everyones taste, but it’s a pretty sound guitar. Plays pretty good and will take a beating.

Colin? obviously does need a new phone. Imagine if he’d tried to call the ambulance on his current phone and it had frozen or something?

I did once think I saw a young Michael Barrymore hover past my house, waving his arms in a circular motion, but it was a police helicopter.

I thought it was a promotional shot of Robin Williams in Popeye.
