Re: Serious Help Needed!!! in Chit-Chat
The wannadies - You and me song is good but maybe a bit quick. Another one on the list of “songs we like rather than fit” is No rain by Blind Melon. Has no relevance to getting wed at all but its a song we both love

Re: Serious Help Needed!!! in Chit-Chat
thanks guys, your giving me lots of help. Much appreciated!!
Wild Horses by The Rolling stones is another we have thought about.
For all us T? fans out there, i can tell you the very last piece of music to be played will be the boys asleep. If only for the line of “thanks for coming, mind your step on your way home…”

Re: Serious Help Needed!!! in Chit-Chat
Ten Storey Love Song by the Stone Roses would be brilliant as it fits, and its a excellent song as well. its just too frekking long tho.

Re: Serious Help Needed!!! in Chit-Chat
Yeah we have already thought of that. We both love the Levellers so “one way” was a definite option.
For comedy value i fancied a bit of the man dont give a fuck by the super furry animals, just to see the future mother in laws face drop!

Re: Serious Help Needed!!! in Chit-Chat
Good song but thinking something a little more modern. The trouble is i had my heart set on a certain song (this is the first day of my life by Bright Eyes) cos lyrically its brilliant, but its just too slow and now i cant get anything to compare to it.

Re: Serious Help Needed!!! in Chit-Chat
yeah i’ve decided nothing over 4 minutes is definitely the way forward.
We might just go for a track that has nothing to do with the topic, but we both really like.

Serious Help Needed!!! in Chit-Chat
I’m getting married in six weeks, and being a supposed “muso” i told my better half i’d pick the first song to dance to as i didnt want anything wanky played ala Robbie Williams and Angels. Well after six months i’m drawing a complete blank. Picked a few great tracks lyrically by either Bright Eyes or Ryan Adams but they are just too slow to dance to. I wanted cast no shadow by oasis, but she’s having none of that.
Oh and serious answers please!! I’ve had enough help from “mates” suggesting tracks by Machinehead!

Re: Best acting job ever ? in Chit-Chat
Russell Crowe in Gladiator was brilliant
Malcolm McDowell in Clockwork Orange
Jack Nicholson in the Shining
Worst… Lyndsey Lohan in anything. Good to look at, but a terrible actress

Vimto is the way forward, preferably with Gin in it.

For some reason that made me think of black pudding.
I have a client who makes black pudding and i had to go to the factory on a survey. The smell of warm blood being mixed with fat aint pretty.
