Re: Worst bands at the moment. in Other Bands & Artists

Newton Fcuking Faulkner or whatever his name is, does my head right in. With his girly folk nonsense, he makes James Blunt look manly.

Plus if you have ginger hair, why advertise it with dreadlocks straight out of Mick hucknalls wardrobe. Shave it off fella!!

Rant over… for now

Re: Message From Martin McCarrick in General Therapy? Topics

I think this may be a bit of a hoax and not the real Mr McCarrick as its a different log in name to the one he has previously used.

Re: Therapy? and Burlesque… in Chit-Chat

Bushy Fields, i remember being a kid and it being called the Henry Loutch centre. At our school you were called a “Loutch” as opposed a spacca!

Re: what was the last gig you went to? in Chit-Chat

okay back from seeing Ryan Adams and he was fcuking excellent. 2 and a half hours is a pretty extreme show. And now he is sober and clean, there wasnt the usual amount of rambling in between songs (saw him in liverpool last year and in between one song he spoke for about 10 minutes).

For some reason there was the usual amount of people heckling him (which he doesnt take very well at all). What sort of retard plays 26 quid to see an artist just to heckle them??

I had the total displeasure to see these jokers support the Charlatans a couple of years back, after the 1st song i contemplated ripping off my own ears.

Re: Worst bands at the moment. in Other Bands & Artists

I forgot that absolute prick Mark Ronson. Anyone who goes to see him live should be drenched in petrol and torched, complete and waste of time. What does he do live? put his cd on and have a smug smile?!?!?!?!?!

Re: Pub Jukeboxes in Other Bands & Artists

The Waggon & Horses in Quarry Bank in the good ole west midlands, had a copy of Troublegum in for years. Me and me mate used to piss the locals off on a friday night by putting 2 quid in and having the whole album on. Happy days!!

Re: Worst bands at the moment. in Other Bands & Artists

i saw them support Oasis at Millenium Stadium two years ago and razorlight were on directly before them, can honestly say that they were better than the Foo’s which is terminally ill as razorlight are worse than dull

Re: Worst bands at the moment. in Other Bands & Artists

@ opal mantra - totally agree, i love seeing the headlines of NME (i stopped buyin it about 8 years ago) every month proclaiming the latest new band to be as big as the beatles. It kills alot of new bands who are good as they get lumped in with the ‘NME crowd’. Thats why i feel for bands like Artic Monkey and The Enemy as they get classed the same as shit like the kooks, klaxons et al by people who think that cos the NME think they are brilliant, they must be shit. The NME should stick to swallowing any old jizz Doherty throws out.

I only saw about 5 minutes of it, and it made me hate Dave Grohl with a passion (which i thought i would never ever do). Back slapping Avril Lavigne, The dude out of the Black Eyed Peas, and that little cockhead Lewis Hamilton. Its a good job i was stoned, cos otherwise i’d have kicked the tv in. Dave and the aforementioned 3 made me want to puke at how fake they all were.

Re: Worst bands at the moment. in Other Bands & Artists

* hides behind sofa ducking bullets * but i really like the Twang and The Enemy. Saw them both this year and they were both top class live.

My two would have to be Linkin Park and Biffy fcuking Clyro! oh and add Lossprophets in as well for good measure. I would rather pierce a vein with a rusty spoon than listen to any of those three.
