I got it too, and immediately removed it. Who on earth is going to read a message as long as that anyway?

Must be because of the ‘?’, if you use ‘therapy’ it gives more than 1900 threads. Search engines such as Google don’t recognize ?’s and !’s, I guess this search option is no different.

Just testing here… I changed some setting regarding renewing cookies, I guess part of the problem is solved now.

I have a cable connection, and I’m always using Internet Explorer.
There seems to be a problem with the drivers for my network adaptor (Farallon 593 PCI), one of the installations disks is not working. I have found all the files I need, but no matter what I try, I can’t install it properly. The result is that my Internet connection tends to be very unstable, and other weird things happen (like the quote thing mentioned before). Guess I’ll have to contact my provider, since they also installed the network adaptor and should have the right driver disks.

The quote doesn’t show in the actual post afterwards, it does appear in the ‘post reply’ screen. I used it in the topic about the Bad Mother single. I wanted to quote Mr. RobbyVDH, but it didn’t show in the post. I also wanted to use it in another post. I don’t think it was a quote to be necessarily removed, since the posts don’t really make sense without the quoted text!
Another problem is that I have to renew pages to get to messages that were posted recently. It does show new posts in the main WOM page, the one that shows all topics. But when I go to a certain topic category and the topic itself, it still shows older posts, and I have to renew the page to see the new posts.

And Robby: Still laughing? ;-) Kinda ironic that the quote option doesn’t work for me, although I don’t consider myself to be a notorious quote-abuser…

Title: Quote doesn’t work

Rene or Sarah, help me out here! I had to format my harddisk last week, and re-install everything. Now my network adaptor isn’t working as it should (although I can still access the Internet). Sometimes links don’t work, cookies don’t do what they’re supposed to do, and concerning this msg-boards: when I use the quote button, it doesn’t show when reading my post. Any suggestions?

I must say I enjoy this message board much much more than others, it’s nice to have a place on the web where people are actually tolerant towards each other and people with whom you can have a decent conversation.
I do think however that the guidelines are taken too seriously sometimes, especially regarding staying on-topic. But then again, there are so many posts that it’s probably necessary to keep seem order in topics.

Whenever I visit the boards, old posts I’ve already read are marked as ‘not read’. With old posts I mean posts from yesterday to now. Am I the only one with this problem?

The pictures are named after the nicknames on this board , just click on them and take a look at the address, the name before .jpg are the nicknames of our mystery guests!

Whenever a topic appears under the wrong category, Rene moves it to the appropriate category (when he has the time to do that). So in this case, it wasn’t directly related to Therapy?, and thus it belongs to the Non-Therapy? related topics. It may occur that this topic is moved to that catogory too, btw. Anyway: no, you’re not going mad.
And I haven’t noticed a change in the accounts, what do you mean?

Bummed? No way man, even if it’s slow every now and then, it’s not your fault, the reason it that many people visit the site, and the reason for that is that this site rocks big time! You single handedly created a small group of loyal T? fans, this site has been better at promoting T? than anything Ark 21 has ever done! And you deserve the credits for that, Rene! Two thumbs up!!

Hey Rene, the Wall Of Mouths isn’t functioning really well the last couple of days, I get a lot of time-outs, or it goes really slow. This is the text I just got when I tried to access the General Topics:

Title: Mistake in the ‘posts counter’

Hi Rene, you may have noticed this already: I noticed in the ‘new cd’s!’ topic (Non-T? related topics) that the posts counter doesn’t work, that is, the post counter of some persons who posted three or more messages remains at the same number. Might be something to look at? Anyway, it doesn’t really bother me, but I thought you might want to know this.

Title: Double posts

You may have noticed it already Rene, but there are some troubles with the posts. It seems that new posts don’t appear immediately, so many people try it again (see topics ‘white pride’ and ‘3 or 4 members?’). Normally, you can see your own reply at once, but now, it takes some time, so you might want to have a look at this.

I’ve known this for ages, I thought you guys knew it too! Sometimes, I forget that the official site is .co.uk, so I type in .com, which brings me to this site. I sometimes use the address when the teethgrinder.com address won’t load, sometimes therapyquestionmark.com loads faster.

I know what you mean. I think many people just choose their favourite album (again). I can’t believe there are some people who actually voted for So Much For The Ten Year Plan, I mean, it’s just letters, nothing more. And Infernal Love is just a picture of the band (it is a cool picture though). I think the artwork of Semi-Detached is pretty good, and also of Babyteeth, there are many things in that picture, I voted for that one.

Ehm, I don’t know where you learned mathematics, and I don’t know if it’s supposed to be funny (if it is, my apologies!), but the correct solution should be:

3x + y = 15

3x = 15 - y

x = 1/3 * (15 - y)

x = 5 - 1/3y
