Re: ??????? in Therapy? Live
Well, suck me sideways, but what the hell is T? doing on the same stage with those clowns calling themselves ‘Cradle Of Filth’??? They make filth alright!

Re: Therapy? fans meeting 7 july in Belgium??? in Therapy? Live
I don’t know about the UK, but it takes only 5 mins to renew your passport in Holland, I just got one in my own city. If I were you, I wouldn’t run the risk of being rejected in Belgium and just renew it, you would have to renew it anyway, right?

Re: Therapy? fans meeting 7 july in Belgium??? in Therapy? Live
How about asking the organization for an ‘offer’? With offer I mean how much money it’ll take to let them organize the BBQ, to use the place to camp, and maybe the tickets. After that, we can decide whether to do it ourselves, or let them do the work.

Re: Therapy? fans meeting 7 july in Belgium??? in Therapy? Live
ok ppl, I made a Hotmail account especially for Zottegem. All people who intend to go, please answer Iris’ questions a couple of messages before this one (about the personal info). Send it to: rockzottegem@hotmail.com

Re: Therapy? fans meeting 7 july in Belgium??? in Therapy? Live
Before setting a deadline, we should consult the organization first, I think. The best deadline for us would be the deadline set by the organization.
Meanwhile, we should indeed collect some info about the people who intend to go, so we can find out who can drive, which route to take, etc. Should we do this by e-mail, or just on this board? If we do it by e-mail, maybe we could sign up at Hotmail or something and make an e-mail address just for this purpose, so we have all info we need on one place.

Re: Therapy? fans meeting 7 july in Belgium??? in Therapy? Live
Maybe we should install a deadline then? Did the organization say anything about a ‘deadline’? I don’t know how much time in advance they need to arrange everything?

Re: Therapy? fans meeting 7 july in Belgium??? in Therapy? Live
It might be a good idea to ask the organization to save some tickets for us. I don’t know if it’s possible to reserve some tickets, but it would be nice to know in advance that you can see T? , and not be left in uncertainty until the last moment.

Re: Therapy? fans meeting 7 july in Belgium??? in Therapy? Live
Ok, I’m there! The only thing that can keep me away, besides the ticket problem, is how to get there, but we can work this out, I guess. Like I said, my last exam is on June 28, after that I don’t have to go to school for about two months, so no problems concercing school for me.
Btw, T? plays on Saturday, right?

Re: Therapy? in Belgium part II in Therapy? Live

Re: Therapy? in Belgium part II in Therapy? Live

Re: Therapy? in Belgium part II in Therapy? Live
I live in Den Bosch, which is about 190 km from Zottegem, I think.
Iris, there are not that many Dutch people on this board, right? I mean, we’re lucky if five people want to go! Anyway, I won’t go alone, so it kinda depends on the rest of you.

Re: Therapy? in Belgium part II in Therapy? Live
OK then, all people who intend to go: apply here! It would be a good idea if the (Dutch?) people who are going to Zottegem would go together, I think. I’m finished with my exams anyway in July, so if there are some people who want to go, I’m there!!

Re: Therapy? in Belgium part II in Therapy? Live
I copied this from the official T? site:
The New record should be available in the Autumn of 2001. It’s the best yet! ta-ra for now - Martin (2001).
I think they know it better than the Belgian festival people do, so I guess we must be patient and wait :-(

Re: Therapy? Call It A Tour In Boston! in Therapy? Live
14 shows in Germany is fine, as long as they don’t forget the small dot next to Germany, also referred to as ‘Holland’.
Could somebody verify this: Isn’t it true that T? is most popular in Belgium, Germany, and Holland (next to the British countries, of course)?

Re: strangest T?-gig you’ve been to.. in Therapy? Live
Was that the time that they thought they were at Rock Am Ring? I heard a story that they played at Pinkpop but they had too much beer, so they said ‘Good evening, Rock Am Ring!’. I thought it was pretty funny actually.

Re: Therapy? Rock Pittsburgh! in Therapy? Live
I believe T? are going to play many older songs in the States, because they haven’t played there for ages. They will play a lot of Semi-Detached stuff and SP-YF stuff, I guess. The newer stuff will be played in Europe, first on the festivals I think. So that’s why they only play a couple of new songs at the US gigs.

Re: strangest T?-gig you’ve been to.. in Therapy? Live
I guess they weren’t really happy as a band back then. You can hear the differences in the interaction they had back then and the interaction they have since the last couple of years. Just listen at gigs like Bizarre ‘98, Bizarre 2000, Forestglade2K, and also Lowlands ‘98. They have the time of their lives, I think! Especially Michael seems to be on fire on the gigs mentioned. Example: At Lowlands, they asked the audience to come closer. I believe it’s Michael (what a great name, btw…) who starts shouting ‘Joooooin us!’ in a hypnotising voice, and Andy shouts along with him. It’s sounds really funny, I listened to it in the bus yesterday for the first time, and I had a big smile on my face when I listened to it. The other people didn’t have a clue why I was laughing!
I think it’s a very good sign though, they love playing live, and that has a positive influence on the music they make in general. They play with much more enthousiasm and energy when they’re happy with what they’re doing, just listen to Bizarre 2000 and Forestglade2K, those gigs are better than some ‘original’ bootlegs!

Shouldn’t it be virtuetv.com??? The concert has been online for about 5 months now, there’s still a link on T?’s official page.

Re: Forestglade2K in Therapy? Live
I believe the show was taken from the radio. At least, this is what the guy who posted the show on Napster told me. The guitars sound much like the Bizarre 2000 gig, btw, which was also taken from the radio I think.
You can hear that the Forestglade2k gig was recorded from the radio in the last track (Knives), where you can hear the German radio guy saying: ‘Das war Therapy? live von Forestglade…’. Anyway, I removed this part, and also the part in the beginning of track 1 Nausea. In the ‘original’ version of Nausea, you can hear a really annoying guy (I guess he’s the MC): ‘…I do believe it’s time to put another shrimp on the barbie…!!’. Anyway, this can really ruin a good song, so I removed this part to, and I began the song with Andy saying: ‘Hallo! Hallo Wiesen! Wie geht’s? Wir sind Therapy? aus Irland…’. I do have both versions (so including and excluding the annoying parts), I put it between brackets: Nausea (no intro) and Knives (excl. German guy). For the annoying ones, I didn’t put anything behind the songs. So if you’re planning on downloading some songs, you know which ones to download!

Re: Forestglade2K in Therapy? Live
Well, the version you have is named by me. The ‘source’ of Forestglade asked me if I knew the title of the song, so after I heard it, I told it that it was Punishment Kiss (at least partly). I believe he named the song Punishment Kiss, and I just called it ‘Medley (Punishment Kiss, unknown song, Potato Junkie)’. Someone told me that the unknown song was some Iggy Pop song, I’ve never heard it, so I believe him.
Better late than never, so thanks anyway!

Forestglade2K in Therapy? Live
Title: Forestglade2K
Hi all, I have a question about the Forestglade2K gig. I have all songs they played, except no. 13. Can anyone tell me which track this is? I have the following setlist:
1. Nausea
2. Screamager
3. Bad Karma
4. Die Laughing
5. Little Tongues First
6. Stories
7. Isolation
8. Church Of Noise
9. He’s Not That Kind Of Girl
10. Breaking The Law/Nowhere
11. Diane (rock version)
12. Potato Junkie
13. ?
14. Knives
Is this correct? The only one that’s missing is 13. Can it be Punishment Kiss, since I have a song simply called ‘track 13’, in which the lads are talking a bit, and at the end, you can hear some guitars that sound exactly the same as the other tracks, and it sounds like a piece from Punishment Kiss.
By the way, did they use other guitars for Forestglade? It sounds a bit different, but it’s really good!

Re: How many times have you seen Therapy? Live in Therapy? Live
Ok, I definately went to the least gigs… Just 1, the gig in 013 Tilburg. But hey, I can’t go by train or bus, since I can’t go back then. Moreover, I’ve been prety occupied with studying and stuff. Hopefully, this will change soon. I am of course planning to visit more T? concerts. I’ve been a fan for just about a year and a half. Perhaps an idea for a new topic: how did you get into T? I’ll try to put it on a.s.a.p.!

Usual playlist in Therapy? Live
Title: Usual playlist
Since I’m going to the T? concert in 013 (Tilburg) next month, I’d like to new what songs they usually play. Do they play a lot of old songs (I hope so), or mostly the SP-YF songs?

Re: Confirmed: Therapy? will play Nighttown in Therapy? Live
As far as I know, the 013 gig is not yet confirmed, although T? has mentioned it themselves on their homepage. However, T? are expected to come at October 25, when it’s confirmed, you will see it in the ‘programme’ on 013web. T? are about to play in at least six places in holland this year, so I expect Tilburg (013) to be one of them.
