His family must be gutted, I saw a pic in the newspapers of his dad, crying in his other son’s arms when he heard the news of this video circulating on the web.
Happy? Far from it.

Re: If it kills me x 20! in General Therapy? Topics

Hmm, concerning screaming at gigs, I never get passed ‘woooooooooh!!!’ (really loud) :D

Re: Beheading in Chit-Chat

I’m not going to watch it, the mere thought of it makes me feel sick. It’s all so pointless really, isn’t it…?

Re: Set list in Therapy? Live

To my knowledge, there has never been a setlist made up of audience requests only. Sure, they let the audience choose between two songs every know and then, but an entire set?? And of course there was the poll of last year’s Fall tour, where four (?) songs were chosen by the WoMbles from a list of so-called ‘obscure’ songs selected by the lads themselves.

Re: ???drugs??? in Chit-Chat

I don’t use drugs, if you don’t regard coffee and beer as drugs. I do drink loads of coffee, and I can drink loads of beer occasionally. I only drink alcohol during weekends, but once I start I often go all the way! It’s been 4 days since my last beer, it won’t be more than 5 (tomorrow, the start of the weekend :D)!
My personal best of no drinking in between sprees is about 3 or 4 weeks I guess. Last year, in the month before my graduation, I wanted to have a clear mind and be razor sharp on the day of my graduation, which worked superbly!

Congrats man! Things have a tendency to work out fine in the end, don’t they?

Re: I fancy women in Chit-Chat

Saw two girls kissing last week, it’s the best thing there is! I’m talking about attractive girls of course, not about construction worker types. So yeah, I’m one of those guys that love it when two girls get jiggy with it :-รพ

Re: Meat Abstract 7” (part 2 - The Agony) in Therapy? Buy, Sell & Trade

Come on, it it really worth that much to some of you? I simply refuse to pay loads of money for so called rare items, and that doesn’t make me a lesser fan. Therapy? won’t see any of the money you pay for it anyway. And besides, it’s just an item you buy, I never attach much value to things like that. A picture or cd signed personally, with a personal message or something, would be worth more to me actually.

Re: Bah Wheep Gra Na Wheep Ni Ni Bong in New Members (Introduce Yourself)

Yeah, 1994 was also the year when Real Things by 2 Unlimited was released! Oh wait, we’re discussing good albums here…

Welcome to the WoM, btw!

Re: Worst Album Cover… in Other Bands & Artists

Has anybody ever seen the cover for Denim Demon by Turbonegro? That’s the worst and scariest thing I’ve ever seen on a cover, how do you expect to sell something to straight people with a cover like that!?

Re: Festivals ? in Therapy? Live

They do play at festivals, just not the ‘major’ festivals like Roskilde, Werchter, Pinkpop, etc. anymore. They mostly play at the smaller festivals during the summer. In the last couple of years they have played at Forestglade, Bospop, Dour, to name a few. And of course the small local ‘festivals’ like Lokeren, Zottegem, and Leuven. So it’s not that they don’t play at festivals anymore, just not the big ones.

Re: Did T? have a gig in Latvia, Lithuania or Estonia? in Therapy? Live

USA 63 times? That can’t be true! I also think they played more gigs in Holland, although they may have played here a lot more in the last couple of years than they did before.

Re: Funshirts in Chit-Chat

A couple of days ago I saw one saying ‘I’m not the messiah, I’m a naughty boy!’. Those of you who’ve seen Life of Brian knows what it means!

Re: You’re not going out dressed like that… in Chit-Chat

It really depends on my mood what I wear. I wear everything from jeans to polo shirts basically, and the occasional ‘CCCP’ cardigan/sweater of course!
And I do wear a suit occasionally, for things like job interviews. I don’t mind wearing a suit at all actually, I feel rather comfortable in it to be honest!

Re: At gigs… in Chit-Chat

Ah, the good ol’ coughing-method… Used it so much that I can’t keep track of it anymore! Things like *cough* loser! *cough* in the middle of a lecture, passing each other the answers to a test by coughing: *cough* B! *cough*
But to keep my post on-topic: what is the deal with the wombles? I don’t think anybody on Holland knows what a womble is! I guess it’s a UK-only thing, which is a shame I think, cos it would be damn funny if everybody knew what ColdEthyl’s design, which kicks ass btw, actually means.

Re: Why doesn’t the search work when… in Your Feedback & Suggestions

Must be because of the ‘?’, if you use ‘therapy’ it gives more than 1900 threads. Search engines such as Google don’t recognize ?’s and !’s, I guess this search option is no different.

Re: Favourite song at present. in Other Bands & Artists

Been listening to Yellowcard (Ocean Avenue) and The Get Up Kids (The Guilt Show) a lot the last couple of days. Both can be labelled ‘emo’, but they both have somewhat of a distinctive sound I think.

Re: US Festivals in Chit-Chat

Isn’t there supposed to be another Woodstock this year? There were Woodstocks in ‘94 and ‘99, and I thought the plan was to have one every five years, which brings us to 2004.

Re: At gigs… in Chit-Chat

I was just playing with photoshop a bit, and thought it would be nice to combine the gemil and the questionmark in one picture. The result is a questionmark with a part of a gemil in it, all in typical T? colours (red and black mainly). It doesn’t have much to do with the phenomenon ‘WoMble’, but I thought it looked nice, so I might as well share it with you lot!

Re: At gigs… in Chit-Chat

I think some sort of WoM shirt would be great, wouldn’t it? Just imagine, the front row of any gig, packed with WoMbles having their own exclusive t-shirt…
Anyway, I think this should be possible, might be a good reason to start a new competition as well!

Good one An! (I’m starting to use real names now on the WoM as well ;) )

Re: At gigs… in Chit-Chat

Always the real names. It sounds so damn stupid to call someone by a nickname I think, unless of course your nickname and real name are in fact the same :D

Re: Worst Album Cover… in Other Bands & Artists

It’s a lame cover indeed! But how about the best cover? I’ve been thinking about this a while ago, I think my fav is the cover of LoveHateTragedy by Papa Roach. I attached the pic, but I edited it a bit, that is, I removed all text so that the ‘rocking baby’ is the only thing left!

Re: Stories 2nd edition in Therapy? Buy, Sell & Trade

All I know is that it was originally released in Holland, but it’s not as rare as Bad Mother and Meat Abstract, not by a long shot. In Holland it’s still fairly easy to get, dunno about other countries.

Re: Films again! in Chit-Chat

From a religious point of view, the movie could be considered dangerous. For instance, Antwerp has a big Jewish community, right? I can imagine they won’t be amused by this movie.

Re: Are T? playin new old songs on the tour? in Therapy? Live

Dang, how could I forget about Moment of Clarity?! Another highlight of last tour I think! Anyway, there you have it Kill_Hill: three pretty ‘rare’ live songs!

Re: Are T? playin new old songs on the tour? in Therapy? Live

Actually, they did another poll last fall in which some rarely played songs were chosen, didn’t you notice? The four songs that won the poll were Stop It You’re Killing Me, Dancin’ With Manson, Straight Life, and Teethgrinder (not sure about this last one). Especially Dancin’ With Manson was awesome, definately one of the highlights on the setlists of their last tour.

Re: Films again! in Chit-Chat

I’m not too enthusiastic about Lost in Translation, there’s no real story or plot in it, I thought it was quite boring actually. It has its moments though, Bill Murray is one of the funniest actors around, that’s for sure!

Regarding The Passion of the Christ: I thought it was a very disturbing, ‘wrong’, and pointless film. Why would you want to show the last hours of Christ as told in the bible as bloody and violently as possible, with as many close-ups and slow motions as possible to make things even more horrible? It’s one of the worst films I have ever seen! Plus I think films like this are quite ‘dangerous’ from a religious point of view, cos this film blames the Jews for Christ’s death.

Re: A few words from Martin McCarrick in General Therapy? Topics

Cheers for that post man, it shows once again that you’re a top bloke. I will definately keep an eye out for you in ‘Rock Land’, I’m sure I won’t be the only one. Thanks for all the years of devotion and for the great music, I wish you all the best in your future projects. Cheers dude!

Re: Digital camera in Chit-Chat

Sorry if I missed the irony, I had a bad day yesterday (showed up too late for a job interview cos I couldn’t find the place in Amsterdam… I even ended up at some Hell’s Angels Bar kinda thing, then I knew I was lost!). Maybe a smilie of some sort would’ve helped… I didn’t realise you were only fooling around, sorry about that!
In the words of da ‘wickedest’ man of da UK, Ali G: Boyakasha, respect!
