As it is in the middle of my holiday, I won’t be there this time. It will be the first Belgian T? show in years that I’ll miss.

Does anyone still need a ticket for Tilburg tomorrow? My friend just cancelled because he injured his knee, so I have a spare ticket.

I’ll check this thread tomorrow from work, can’t check my home email from there. Leave a message if anyone wants to meet before the gig to buy the spare ticket.

TMF has a 2-hour special about Rock Werchter every day between 21:00 and 23:00. Today they ended with the last band of Friday, so I guess tomorrow (Wednesday) they will start with Therapy?.

There’s a short interview with T? on the Rock Werchter site (http://www.rockwerchter.be/). Click “On the site”, “Day 3” and then the Movies “gallery 1” on the bottom right.

There’s also some pictures of the concert, but I don’t know how to save them.

A very good show, although the setlist was a bit predictable (and too short). But they are there to get interest from new people, and I think they couldn’t have chosen a better setlist to do that.

And my first time at Werchter (a long, long time ago), my leg was in a cast because of a sprained knee. So I’ve done that before, it wouldn’t stop me this time either.

One of their better shows, great audience. The only weaker moment for me were Rise up and Rock you monkeys in the middle of the setlist.

Got my ticket from fnac with the 5 Euro discount from De Standaard. :) Lucky thing that I saw the discount in the newspaper the day before I was going to get a ticket.

It seems I’m the first one to get to a computer after the show. It’s now late afternoon, so I hope the rest didn’t get lost.

Anyway, very good but short show. 2 new songs played: Rise Up and Die Like A Motherfucker.

They opened with Meat Abstract - Nowhere - Teethgrinder. This really is a killer opening. The rest of the setlist was similar to the latest shows. I leave it to Robby or Roxy to give the complete setlist.

During the encore Andy did a solo version of Diane and then totally fucked up during Isolation. T? were all laughing. They also had to stop the last song, Hey Satan You Rock and continued with a “jazz” version, as they also did in Weert last year.

Dead Shark was played in Weert, but I don’t think it will ever become a song. It was just T? making a lot of noise. Andy introduced it as saying that they would improvise something new during every gig that tour.

You missed Isolation and If it kills me.

It felt like seeing them on the Troublegum tour. Only 3 songs from after TG, of which 2 new songs.

I wonder why they do this. I like TG and before, but it’s more than 10 years ago by now. Great to hear Meat Abstract though.

I only now realise that they didn’t play Hey Satan You Rock. Just shows how good the show was.

And the grin on Andy’s face during the show said it all, T? were enjoying themselves as well. Let’s hope it inspires them to play lots of shows in Belgium next year.

Best audience I had the pleasure of being a part of this year. Probably even of last year. At times, you couldn’t even hear Andy singing with the noise and the singing along of the crowd. Andy told us to make LESS noise, or we would be heard in Brussels. And the music was loud, I still can’t hear properly.

My sympathy to all the people that were standing in the cold after the show and that are now at work. Nice to meet you all. Hang on, the weekend is coming soon.
