When I heard the original version of Tatty, I was surprised that T? was able to figure it out to cover it.

The mix was horrible (at least on the version I have). The bass was so high it drowned everything else out.

The B sides were produced by brother John Robb, who was a member of the Membranes. Check out his current band, they’re corkin’!

I dunno about that, but he appears to be oblivious to the fact that somebody has kidnapped Avril Lavigne and replaced her with Rosie from Coronation Street…

Re: “I Want My Money Back” CD..? in General Therapy? Topics

Theres also a bootleg called “Live, England 94” which is a piss poor qulaity recording from Donnington - it’s also called “Now and Then”, which has the Astoria set added to the end as bonus tracks.

Re: How will NANE be selling? in General Therapy? Topics

What we should do is an impromptu pirate broadcast, everybody get yer stereos, stick the speakers out the window, turn it up to full blast and all start playing the album at an arranged time! Let the streets ring out with the sound of NANE! Followed by multiple arrests for breach of the peace.. still, could be a useful publicity tool!

Next week I’ll be doing a seminar on world domination for the home enthusiast despot…

Re: die like a motherfucker in General Therapy? Topics

I wouldn’t have compared it the 80’s.. but there are some bits throughout the album that reminded me of Kepone.

I can’t pick one out at the moment!

Re: Best NANE track in General Therapy? Topics

Yeah, the responce I usually get is “are they still going?”. In a way it highlights a) how poor the music press is, and b) how lame the general public is when they have to be force fed which bands they should like!

Re: Best NANE track in General Therapy? Topics

I think this is the first T? album where I can imagine every song is going to be a monster played live. I love the raw power ( fuck, I’m turning into Krusher! Rock lobster! ), I was trying to think of a word to describe it.. momentum! It’s got a momentum running through it that can sometimes get lost in the studio.. can’t wait for the Manc gig!

Re: One problem in General Therapy? Topics

Anyway, what’s the alternative? A double disc set of prog rock classics, with songs telling stories of wizards, orcs and dragons.. The band in cloaks and pointy hats all wrapped up in a magic mushroom influenced gatefold sleeve?

No thanks!

Re: ARRGH! Bloody Amazon! in General Therapy? Topics

A few of me mates ordered it through Play.com and they all got their copies on the Saturday before it came out! It may be worth going there in future?

Re: ARRGH! Bloody Amazon! in General Therapy? Topics

Is there no way you can cancel the orders due to the fact they’ve been a bit shit?

Re: The Best of Therapy? *You Make It* in General Therapy? Topics

I spit on your “no tracks from so much…” ruling! And include the following…

1. Fat Camp
2. Little Tongues First
3. Tightrope Walker
4. Nobody Here But Us
5. Bad Mother
6. Meat Abstract
7. Prison Breaker
8. Disgracelands
9. Ten Year Plan
10.Teethgrinder
11.If it Kills Me
12.Skyward
13.Gone
14.Sister
15.Rust
16.Dancin’ With Manson

Only I’d rather hear new versions all done in the studio! Plus a bonus disc featuring remixes from the likes of Squarepusher and Aphex Twin..well, anything on Warp really!

Ask me again another day and you’ll get a different list!

Yeah, but isn’t everybody else biased ‘cause they see it from a child’s perspective?

Re: More bass on the next T? album please. in General Therapy? Topics

I think Michael should get a steinburger for the next album..but not the lunchbox, they reek too much of ASWAD!

And Hooch, don’t even try to construct a reply featuring the words “Michael” and “lunchbox”!
