Re: We Need You In Manchester! in Therapy? Live
I don’t really go into Manchester much since moving to Rochdale, but what about the pub that’s right across the road from the H&G? Any ideas what that ones like?

Re: We Need You In Manchester! in Therapy? Live
Bloody too right, in fact, I even had to have another drink to calm my already frayed nerves from the drinking.
Just thinking about it has raised awful traumatised memories… I’d better have a drink to get me on an even keel!

Re: We Need You In Manchester! in Therapy? Live
It was terrible… we had to drink more beer as we waited for you to get back to the station.. I’ll never forgive you for that!

Re: Best song T? have played to open a show in Therapy? Live
I have to say that I think Fat Camp is one of the best songs T? have ever done, I first heard it on the radio one rock show round at a friends house, there were a few of us there and beers had been consumed and illegal substances had been taken. A couple of the guys there weren’t really into T?, but when that song played they were like “what the fuck? This is amazing!” For those of us who were into them, we were all sitting there open mouthed going ” Fuck me…this is like something from Babyteeth!”
A very cool moment!

I think it was mentioned in the diaries a bit back that Keith and Neil were alternating between dates during their stand in duties?

The time they played Newcastle Riverside, promoting my favourite album (SD). Can’t remember many specific details, but it was T?, playing loads of ‘doundtrack of your life’ type stuff, including ‘The Boy’s Asleep’ (am sure Alan or Dr Bigjoint will tell me if I’m confused here), and it was just a complete ji-de-vivre (spelling aside) occassion.
Yeah, they closed the set with The Boy’s Asleep, and we got High Noon in the encore with Andy on drums!

Re: your best T? gig ever? in Therapy? Live
Sparky-I was at that one! That was my first T? gig,It wasn’t 94, it was late 93! The mighty Cop Shoot Cop opened up and damn were they good! I also remember the opening act Shrapnel, mainly cos they’re lanky git of a bassist went crowd surfing and stood on my head! Oh, I had a sore neck in the morning! What a great night that was though..the sweat was dripping off the ceiling and I remember people climbing on the pipes which ran along it! Judging from what you’ve said about Andy, I was probably right next to you as well!

I was chatting with him on-line earlier today and he filled me in on the details! “The number of the beats” thing was my favourite bit though!

Re: Setlists: Stones vs Therapy? in Therapy? Live
Nah, the queen mum was like robocop..or darth vader, towards the end she was more machine than old person. I don’t think she died in the accepted sense of the word, she probably just couldn’t be reformatted properly anymore.

Re: Setlists: Stones vs Therapy? in Therapy? Live
Do you think the Stones are? I’ve got a suspicion they’re animated corpse puppet type thingies, controlled from behind the stage by pony tailed corporate execs with light cotton suits with the arms rolled up in a 80’s Don Johnson style fashion.
