Re: neil isn“t that good i think in Therapy? Live

It was good to see Neil’s hands actually give him a bit of aggro with blisters after the gig in Manchester. Must admit, I love the gigs so much, I haven’t ever paid my entrance fee just to listen to the drummer, for me Neil done the biz, and good on ya mate :p

Re: Set Lengths in Therapy? Live

I was at Manchester, and I think T? were on for about 1 hr 10, I could see the setlist, and know they missed out Diane, but they came on stage late as well, I would have fucked the first support band off, kept Miss Black America, and T? on for 2hours, that would have been nice, perhaps 1hr of their set, and the rest could have been by audience request:D

Re: Galsgow for the fat bastards… in Therapy? Live

I was at Manchester, and I don;t think they played anything off Shameless, in fact of positive of it. We too got Potato Junkie, would have liked to hear the Master of Puppets bit

Hey man, you were talking to me and my girlfriend at the bar downstairs (you recognised her tat from the site and that..)

Er, sorry I wasn’t more talkative, I think I was just confused or something :)

I also remember you meatabstract, well not you, but I remember seeing your girlfriends tattoo, it was the largest question mark on her back wasn’t it? could only have been that one, I don’t think there are or where any better

Karl, where were you if you could see the setlist? - up the front? I was down by the desk (well, I’m getting on a bit!)where the sound was great.

I was at the front slightly to the right of Andy, I guess in front of Martin then. It was only yeterday that I could feel brusing on my right rib, I was trying to hang on for dear life onto one of the montiors, but that didn’t last long. I’m sorry had to go on the rob again, when Martin put his micropohne first over the crowd I took two plectrums from the stand, I gave one lad next to me one of them as he asked me for it. Swear to god, if you can get the chance on this tour, then get one, they are fucking cool. Red with the Gemill on one side and ? on the other. The roadie was a bit tight arsed at the end, as people were asking him form plectrums that were dropped on the stage, but he said no as they were running low (on the first night of the tour?) I asked for a drumstick that was on the stage, and he went and got it, and said sorry it hasn;t been used, oh for fucks sake!!!
There was a really funny tall blond haired lad at the end of the gig who leaned over and got one of Andy’s stubbs and just relit and finsihed it off. Perhaps this was the lad who was trying to sit on the girls back that I read earlier?
No1 concert though, I knew it was going to be a rough one as soon as I saw there was no security line between the stage and the crowd:eek:

Re: Miss Black America setlist in Therapy? Live

I saw both support acts, the first band I wasn’t over impressed with, as I couldn’t understand a fucking word the singer was going on about.
But Miss Black America really impressed me, I thought they were really cool, and songs were great, and haircuts even better!! welcome to MAdchester Mr bass man!!:D

Manchester gig reviews: Start here! in Therapy? Live

Title: Manchester 13.5.03

Well what a fucking gig.
Hooch and Dano apologies for not being able to find you, I did actually think that I would be the only one with a 9 year old Die Laughing T-shirt, how wrong I was.
Tonight had everything, Martin diving into the crowd, Michael having problems with his bass all night, I met Micheal on the spiral staircase before the gig, so that was nice to talk to him again.

I aslo met a Finnish guy I think his name was Lucas and his girlfirend who were students in Preston. Lucas let me know what she thought of the gig.

The new songs were shit hot, and for those interested they did play rust. The only thing that spoiled it was I could see a set list so knew what was comin gand what wasn’t, I won’t spoil it for the rest of you on the HA tour. I bet it is going to be fuckin chaos in Dublin and Belfast wish I was going!!!

I wonder why they couldn’t get on the Metallica bill. T? were brilliant at Ozzfest last year. Maybe the organisers didn’t think the kiddies that would be there to see Linkin Park wouldn’t know what to make of T?

I wouldn’t pay a lot of money to watch T? support that bunch of money grabbing bastards, and after how T? got treated at Donington in 95 I wouldn’t be surprised if T? told them to stick it, as they rocked big time at Donington 94.
I went the Ozzfest at Donington last year, so was gutted to hear that T? would be playing the day after in Ireland.
Anyway, Manchester tonight, can’t wait.

Re: T? @ Manchester in Therapy? Live

Right without sounding like a right tart, what are people wearing (T-shirt that is!!), as I would like to put faces to people from WOM if I get chance, as I guess you will be in the union before going upstairs to the gig.

Re: What songs should be played on the next tour? in Therapy? Live

The thread seems to have changed a little. On SP-YF at Manchester, i touched the strings on Michaels bass as he was playing, fucking hell that sounds really sad for a Monday morning!! Micheal had a tendency not to throw his plectrum into the crowd, so I nabbed one when he put the microphone over the crowd for Screamager, god I just get worse:)
I’ll start another thread off I think

Bah, I am having much trouble persuading my dear mother she wants to skive off work to look after my munchkin whilst I go galavanting across the Pennines but nevertheless…

I am making preparations anyway and was hoping someone could tell me if I want to get the train to the Oxford Road or Piccadilly station?

Also, is there a definite plan regarding pre-gig meeting up yet?

Ta, Sarah

Oxford Road is your best bet if I remember right, if you come out of the station and turn right up Oxford Road, and keep walking you will come to the University on the right, then a little further on is the union.
Further up is the hogshead pub, that’s were they all went for beer after the soundcheck on shameless, so perhaps they’ll go there again.
Micheal has told me that Diamond Dave won’t be there on this tour, whose going to do all the wheeling and dealing then???

Re: T? @ Manchester in Therapy? Live

Sounds good to me, I’ll try to get to Manchester early, just depends on what time I get out of work at, but if nearer the time you tell me where you are, and what you are likely to be wearing, I’ll try and meet up with you. If not, I can meet you in the union, and the ale is cheap. :)

Re: Where should “High Anxiety” Tour 2003 stop… in Therapy? Live

Anywhere in the North West, I’ve seen them all over. To play Liverpool and Manchester would be great as I could see them twice on the tour then. The smaller the venue the better.

Re: Therapy? club night in Therapy? Live

Gutted for you Kyra, it sounds like it will be a top night. Diamond Dave is such a cool bloke, so funny.
Hope it goes really well, and they decide to do one up North as well, round the Liverpool / Manchester area would be greatly appreciated :-p
