I thought we were playing really well until they scored, and our heads seemed to drop a little, but the goal back gave us some hope.
It seemed that we weren’t in awe of Barca, and didn’t seem phased by them, ok we got rings ran round us at times, but the faces on their players at the end.. total shock, they seemed to think they had the god given right to win.

The media made things worse regarding Portugal, some said Carragher was singing at the Bar with Gerrard, yet carragher said he wasn’t even in Portugal. They won’t get rid of Bellamy, he is a class player, Villa buying yet another one of our players, Baros Collymore Rosenthal…

I guess it depends how late you leave it, as Bigmouth then tells you what row you will be in. Thankfully never had to sit down at the MEN, but I hate arena gigs, paying shit loads of money to watch a big screen, classic.

Can’t check as the standing tickets are sold out, fucking scandalous though, the booking fee always pisses me off for starters, but nearly 5 quid through the post is a fucking joke.
I think I have noticed this kind of pricing in the past, I’m not going to watch Maiden, but to be honest if there is someone I really want to watch, then I buy the tickets as soon as they come on sale, so that I can get standing tickets. Been to the MEN twice, and stood twice, too fucking big and what a lottery where you sit.

Right, this sounds stupid but hopefully someone knows of a good reson why this happens.
Just had a look on bigmouth at Maiden tickets, for standing tickets the postage is £1.85 for seating tickets it is £4.80, where the hell do they get those kind of differences from?

I live in the North West, so it is Rugby League up here, can’t understand the rules of Union it seems like pick the ball up and kick it to you opponent, who will do the same.

If the housemates were scared at times with Bez’s attitude, they would have been shitting themselves if Shaun Ryder had been there.

I’m glad he won, and people didn’t just vote the for Kenzie coz he’s young. Done us up North proud, and I really liked it when he argued with the others saying that he doesn’t like seeing people getting picked on.

I saw The Pogues in Manchester on Saturday, they were fantastic. Sahne MacGowan came on half cut but he was superb, and it was great that he said that Man Utd were shite, and that Roy Keane was a traitor.

Just read through all these threads. I have been driving for 14 years now, and don’t drink and drive at all, not for my own sake but for others.
In the UK they have adverts on TV that scare the shit out of you, and are verey graphic to say the least.
I think there are times when I have one beer when I am not driving, and think I can feel that already. Health wise I am pretty sure I am ok, got round the London Marathon.
It has been interesting to see that attitudes around Europe mirror the vasst majority of attitudes here in the UK.

Thanks for pointing that out, as I was intrigued, and had to do a search and can’t find any information that he was ill, seems to be doing well for himself though, and should get back on They Think Its All Over. Sadly missed.

Now Bill Bailey really is funny, one of the funniest Never Mind The Buzzcoks I ever saw was with him and Rick Wakeman on the same episode,hilarious.

Just been reading another thread and thought I’d start another, as the previous one was kind of getting side tracked. What things have you managed to get a concerts, mine are just plectrums, never caught a drum stick, guess I should have just asked Graham on the last tour when I met him, but hey where do you keep a drumstick.

I saw that on the news about the licence fee going up 4 quid, pissed me off, but what pissed me off more was when they said the BBC get around 2.6 Billion pounds in licence fee payments!!!
