Re: You Know What I Hate? in Chit-Chat

I guess you don’t have to feel best friends with the band, as when they do email you personally, it feels really good, as it is directed to you as an individual, rather than just a mailing list.
I haven’t been a member for that long, but there are lots of people on here from different cultures, all sharing T? and that is cool, must admit though, I get a little jealous, as T? seem to play the continent more than the UK.

Ok then, it’s like a boxing ring being square.

Re: new music in Chit-Chat

I have a copy of the new Chilli’s CD which isn’t too bad, and yesterday in Manchester I bought the very best of Testament, which is fantastic, and brings loads of memories back for me.

I think one, as it is a hard life up here in the North, and you have to scavenge for what you can!!!
Two in Worcestershire, day out planned I think!

Re: Football clubs in Chit-Chat

What a fantastic game the auld firm game was yesterday. It is the first Scottish game I have seen on the TV, as we don’t get to see the scots in England. But 3-3, superb.
I watched Liverpool win 1-0, and they were very dispointing, and a tad fortunate in the last minute, but I think we deserve a bit of luck

Re: Favourite film? in Chit-Chat

I don’t think I have seen the first Blade film BB, is the second one better than the first? or do I have to watch the first to understand the 2nd?

Re: Football clubs in Chit-Chat

I’ll try and watch the Glasgow game, as I don’t think I have seen an auld firm live, but know that if it’s blood and gore you like, then Sunday at 2pm is the place to be!!

I’ve got a lot of time for Manchester City, don’t know if it’s because I dislike Utd so much, or becuase I love going for curries in Rusholme, just round the corner from Maine Road.

Re: Football clubs in Chit-Chat

Nice one choi,

I guess you like our Finnish player Sami Hyypia? shame we didn’t kkep hold of Jari, as I thought he was brilliant too.
Yet again, the reds need a win tonight, or we will really be up the creek without a paddle, should win this one, seeing as I’m not going, must have jinkxed them last week.

By the way everyone, it’s good that we haven’t had anyone come on and say they support Man Utd, too bloody many of them!!!

Re: A big rant. in Chit-Chat

Bloody hell, you do have it bad. I heard on the radio this morning that Durham is the first place to have tolls for entering the town. I guess those shites driving the arriva buses won’t have to pay though, and will still probably put their prices up as they will say they are using more diesel while sitting in traffic jams!!!

The Shining
The Italian Job
Escape to Victory and The great escape are always good at Christmas after your belly is too full, and you just want to lay down.

Re: A big rant. in Chit-Chat

Just read your initial rant. Totally agree with you. Them and First North Western run our trains in Merseyside as well, but Arriva also run our bastard buses as well, they are a right pain in the arse, and the cheeky gets are always striking for more money, when they already offer a shite service.
So totally symapthise with you, it’s not a rant, get it offa your chest!!!

Re: Football clubs in Chit-Chat

Liverpool were really disappointing last night. We hit the woodwork 4 or 5 times, but it just wouldn’t go in.
Their not out yet, but a couple of good results away will hopefully turn things around.
Good to see the Arsenal doing well in Europe.
My thoughts are that the cup is going back to Madrid, as they are just too classy

Re: Football clubs in Chit-Chat

Well I’m going watching Liverpool in the Champions League tonight at Anfield against Baisle, and we really need the win or we are up the creek without a paddle.

Football clubs in Chit-Chat

Title: Football clubs

Seeing as so many of you are from Europe, what football teams do you follow?
When I spoke to Andy in Manchester, him and Diamond Dave were massive followers of Chelsea, as they wanted to be different at school as the majority of kids supported Liverpool and Manchester Utd
Liverpool for me!!!
