Re: Manchester 27/05/06 in Therapy? Live

Title: Manchester Reviews (merged)

That was fucking brilliant, just got back. Fear of God sounded really heavy, one of my favourite songs of the night.
How fucking hot was it? my T-shirt was soaking, they were worth every penny again though, and I thought we were going to get all of breaking the law.
I missed the NANE tour, so I don’t know if they played Diane on that, but how they played it tonight was fantastic, first time I have heard it live without the cello, and I loved Martin.

All in all what a night, and my ears are still ringing

Bit dodgy mixing with stone roses fans weren’t it? loads of them going around with Gallagher haircuts.

Re: What was the first and/or last song you heard by therapy?? in General Therapy? Topics

Whatever they opened up to at Donny 94. Last one I think was into the light

Bollocks, forgot about that shit going on, at least I know what Motorway I won’t be using. I’ll come the other way via Mosside.
Nice one for mentioning about the football

Re: OCFA what do you think? in General Therapy? Topics

The only thing I am not overkeen on yet, is the guitar solo in Our White Noise, doesn’t seem to fit for me. Top song though.

Re: Manchester 27/05/06 in Therapy? Live

Without sounding like a tart, what are people wearing as I would like to see some of you at the gig if I get chance. I’m only leaving St.Helens at about 6 so should get there for what 6.45. I guess I will go in the Union, beer just too cheap to believe (downstairs anyway). Jabez Clegg is a good pub, Krobar is pretty expensive, but last time I was there they done Hoegaarden on draught. The Hogshead down the road is also good, and is normally where T? go after soundcheck, fucking hell stalker!!

Re: The set list in Therapy? Live

Looking forward to Manchester, just been reading what they have been playing lately. I would like to see Deluded Son and Into the Light, I always wanted to see Jam Jar Jail but they have never played it when I have watched them

Oh hooray. Finally got OCFA today from HMV.
But I am in work now and have a picture of a woman gritting her teeth on my desk, but not been able to listen to it yet. Will put it on on the way home.

Even though I haven’t received it yet. If I had ordered it from play, I would be putting my thougths up like everyone else.
I really have sympathy for our colleagues in the US who can’t usually get the albums for ages, if this anticipation is what it is like, shit I hope it comes today.

Re: OCFA what do you think? in General Therapy? Topics

I fucking hate it…

Not the album but listening to all you lot, mine still hasn’t arrived, bollocks. I hope it comes tomorrow, as I have to drive to a meeting in Birmingham on Tuesday and that is plenty of time to listen to the album a couple of times.
Bollocks to experimenting with other websites, back to play for the next one.

I went to this site after I read it on another post, and I just couldn’t, I didn’t even want to hear the previews.
I’ll wait until my copy arrives in the post.

Re: Manchester 27/05/06 in Therapy? Live

Anyway so I guess your all looking forward to Manchester?

Hooch it is a piece of piss finding the uni. Come out of Oxford Road station turn right, and stay on that pavement all the way up. BBC Manchester should be on the opposite side of the road as you are walking up. You shoud walk under a massive bridge like thing spanning the road that says Manchester University or something on it, keep walking, if you get to the Academy and you’ve gone to far.

That is assuming you are coming in at Oxford Road. If you are coming in at Victoria, your fucked :p

Re: ARRGH! Bloody Amazon! in General Therapy? Topics

Just seen that like Play, HMV operate from Guernsey so it is tax free I think.
For all our people in the US, I noticed that CD-WOW do free delivery worldwide also.

Re: ARRGH! Bloody Amazon! in General Therapy? Topics

Sorted things with HMV, and will order it from them for £8.99 free delivery, this experience with them will shape future orders from me.

Re: ARRGH! Bloody Amazon! in General Therapy? Topics

I remember ordering HA from Play, and got it a few days before the release date. Even though HMV is cheaper I will go with Play as I do for virtually everything, they are really reliable.

Re: ARRGH! Bloody Amazon! in General Therapy? Topics

Believe it or not I have just seen OCFA on HMV for £8.99 with free delivery, but I’m stuggling to pre-order it with them. Play is what £11.99, and 101 is £10.99 including delivery.

Re: Manchester 27/05/06 in Therapy? Live

I think if a meet up is planned, the best and cheapest place is probably in the students union below the hop and grape. As there are a lot of pretentious and pretty expensive bars on oxford road. I guess the band will be going to big hands after the gig?
Manchester gig threads always seems to get quite a response doesn’t it.

Re: Manchester 27/05/06 in Therapy? Live

I didn’t make it to the NANE tour in Manc, but will be at this one.
Hooch wasn’t it on HA that you had the nightmare trip to Manc?

Re: Rain Hits Concrete already available? in General Therapy? Topics

Just read that Pinnacle have it for £1.99, I got it from the 7 digital link for £2.99. I think for the next downloading single I will hang on until all the problems are ironed out then get it from Pinnacle.
also read in this thread that Itunes have it for what £3.19, quite a swing in the prices

Re: Rain Hits Concrete - Opinions? in General Therapy? Topics

Just downloaded it now, and had a quick listen. Sounds cool, to be honest just happy that I haven’t had the problems that a lot of people seem to have had.
