Title: Sabotage and Citizen

You two have really made my day, done a presentation this afternoon which turned to ratshit, and have read your messages and cheered me up.
Fantastic!!

Re: Therapy? club night in Therapy? Live

Gutted for you Kyra, it sounds like it will be a top night. Diamond Dave is such a cool bloke, so funny.
Hope it goes really well, and they decide to do one up North as well, round the Liverpool / Manchester area would be greatly appreciated :-p

Re: they could have been big in General Therapy? Topics

Must admit I have seen the T? around half a dozen times, and in the 90’s watched Metallica, Megadeth, Sepultura and many more to name a fair few times.
I think I went off Metallica after the black album as they sold out big time, and everything to do with them was concerned with money, and it was getting more and more expensive to watch them. Lately I have listened to S&M and that has sort of took me back to better days and introduce me to their new stuff, but I still don’t own Load or Reload, think I will just stay with S&M.
Megadeth totally changed their style, but were still reasonable but are no more, I think the only band who remained really aggressive were and are Slayer.
But heh? everyone makes a dodgy number or two, but if they can produce the goods at live gigs, then no problem.
I have read a lot of the messages that everyone has sent in relation to IXX, and to be honest I love the bones of T? but I guess T? would like to hear constructive criticism rather than everyone saying how good they are. And really I know whose job I would sooner be doing, give me a life of rockstar bullshit anyday!!

Must admit I started reading it, and thought lets see what the other T? fans make of it, so I haven’t bothered reading the rest of it!!!

Re: You Know What I Hate? in Chit-Chat

What’s that in aid of?

Re: You Know What I Hate? in Chit-Chat

I guess you don’t have to feel best friends with the band, as when they do email you personally, it feels really good, as it is directed to you as an individual, rather than just a mailing list.
I haven’t been a member for that long, but there are lots of people on here from different cultures, all sharing T? and that is cool, must admit though, I get a little jealous, as T? seem to play the continent more than the UK.

Re: First touch of Therapy? music in General Therapy? Topics

First I saw of them was at the monsters of rock at Donington in 94. I think I had heard some of their stuff in rock clubs, but they were fantastic live, and the amount of stuff from Troublegum that I had heard and didn’t know was them was the opening.
The line up then was fantastic, with Pantera, Sepultura and Aerosmith headlining. Not too sure how comfortable Extreme felt on the bill.
Fan-fuckin-tastic, bring back the proper monsters of rock festivals, Ozzfest is good, but to see 2 hours of someone else headlining makes for good viewing as well.

Re: Treasured items in General Therapy? Topics

Must have gone right past you at the Manchester gig then, great charity.
T? had a fantastic stage that night as well, if I can remember right, with a lot stager lights set up in a massive heart shape.

Re: new music in Chit-Chat

I have a copy of the new Chilli’s CD which isn’t too bad, and yesterday in Manchester I bought the very best of Testament, which is fantastic, and brings loads of memories back for me.

Re: How many slices of bread in a round of toast? in Chit-Chat

I think one, as it is a hard life up here in the North, and you have to scavenge for what you can!!!
Two in Worcestershire, day out planned I think!

Re: Treasured items in General Therapy? Topics

Must admit, my photos with the band on the shameless tour are my most treasured, as they let me watch the soundcheck in the afternoon, and they were so down to earth and cool to hang out with.

They are fantastic to their fans. On the infernal tour, they spent the afternoon signing dressing room signs, diane postcards and drumskins. These were then sold at the gig at night, and all proceeds went to charities for the homeless. So I got the postcard and the dressing room thing.

Come on, roll on the next tour!!!

Re: What’s that song? in General Therapy? Topics

I was wondering what the hell was happening at first, when I heard a baby crying.
It’s cool finding things on albums that you didn’t know exist.

What’s that song? in General Therapy? Topics

Title: What’s that song?

Just been listening to SP-YF at work, and I must have forgot it was on after sister finished. But the track is 29 minutes long, and at 12.5 minutes from the end of the CD is a song, what is it?

Posted on Fri, 11 October 2002 at 10:13

Re: Little Tongues First in General Therapy? Topics

Terrible noise! I don’t think so, great song. Must admit though, my favourite on SP-YF is Jam Jar Jail, Micheal’s bass rocks!! but they didn’t play it on the SP-YF or Shameless tour, sp I haven’t seen it live, gutted!

Re: Football clubs in Chit-Chat

What a fantastic game the auld firm game was yesterday. It is the first Scottish game I have seen on the TV, as we don’t get to see the scots in England. But 3-3, superb.
I watched Liverpool win 1-0, and they were very dispointing, and a tad fortunate in the last minute, but I think we deserve a bit of luck

Re: Favourite film? in Chit-Chat

I don’t think I have seen the first Blade film BB, is the second one better than the first? or do I have to watch the first to understand the 2nd?
Another one of may favs, is Only Fools and Horses - The jolly boys outing to Margate!!!

Re: Football clubs in Chit-Chat

I’ll try and watch the Glasgow game, as I don’t think I have seen an auld firm live, but know that if it’s blood and gore you like, then Sunday at 2pm is the place to be!!

I’ve got a lot of time for Manchester City, don’t know if it’s because I dislike Utd so much, or becuase I love going for curries in Rusholme, just round the corner from Maine Road.

Re: Football clubs in Chit-Chat

Nice one choi,

I guess you like our Finnish player Sami Hyypia? shame we didn’t kkep hold of Jari, as I thought he was brilliant too.
Yet again, the reds need a win tonight, or we will really be up the creek without a paddle, should win this one, seeing as I’m not going, must have jinkxed them last week.

By the way everyone, it’s good that we haven’t had anyone come on and say they support Man Utd, too bloody many of them!!!
