Unreleased Promo in General Therapy? Topics

Title: Unreleased Promo

I have noticed on Ebay that someone is selling an unreleased promo of One Cure, and is currently at a bid of nearly £23.00, I love the band don’t get me wrong but would sooner wait and get the booklet and everything with the CD rather than pay that much just to get it early. What is everyone else’s thoughts on this? perhaps it’s just me?

Re: One Cure Cover in General Therapy? Topics

None of the more recent albums really stand out or catch your eye when you’re walking through a record store, but I think this one will.

Never thought about it like that, as I have just been going through the messages of people liking and disliking. My first impression was don’t like, but it will stand out in a shop no to ways about it, and I have been proven wrong on so many times with first impressions. Just hope, sorry I think we know the content will be fantastic.

Re: Funniest onstage quote/rant in Therapy? Live

I remember at Preston on Scopophobia when Martin wasn’t there, and everyone was asking where he was, and Andy turned round and said that he had had a gardening accident! Really put the crowds mind at rest :)

Re: Essay on this great Group…THERAPY? in General Therapy? Topics

All Guinness sold in the UK apparently is now imported from Ireland - until recently it was brewed under license here.[/quote]

I love me Guinness, but it is still shit compared to the Guinness in Ireland, even when you get a good pint of it in the UK, it just doesn’t compare.
I went to a pub when I was in Dublin called the Porterhouse, and they brewed a number of of stouts, and one called I think Wrasslers XXX, lovely brew

Re: Sabres of Paradise in General Therapy? Topics

Thanks for all your inputs. Not sure what to do now, I should still buy it, I should have done yesterday it was at a bloody good price as well.
Is it industrial sounding, as I imagine it to be something like Die Krupps or something, or am I totally wide of the mark?

I just hope they make a load of promo copies so I can pick one up for an incredible amount of money on ebay… :(

I understand the logic in having download singles but its not the same as having something in your hands is it?

Just noticed a couple of these on ebay, one says it is an original and not the downloaded songs.

Re: Fonts in General Therapy? Topics

Where can I find the Marshall type one? I’m sure there was a thread somewhere on the message boards but I have had a quick look through and can’t find it.

Is this the one you were after, as it appears to be free, and I haven’t had a bill yet.

Re: Troublegum in General Therapy? Topics

I first saw T? at Donnigton in 94, and it was performing songs off Troublegum that blew me away and got me into T? one of the classic albums of all time, but I undestand what you say about other non T? fans not mentioning anything bar that album. Still couldn’t have a gig without screamager though, makes the night complete

Re: Signatures in General Therapy? Topics

Could be one of the last voodoo doll with Martin’s autograph on it, by the time I got mine in Preston, there were only 3 signatures on it.
Must admit I was panicking, as reading the boards before the gig, people were buying loads across the European shows and thought they may run about before they got to us.

Re: Girls Stagedivin’ !!? in General Therapy? Topics

Title: Stagediving

I have only done stagediving once, years and years ago in my youthful days, when I was watching Wolfsbane in Liverpool, didn’t seem a bad thing to do at the time, but that was after downing loads of breaker through the night. I don’t think I would do it now though.

I never liked Iron Man as a song, and I don’t think its “style” sounds anything like Therapy?. So in that sense I don’t like it. If T? wanted to make a Black Sabbath/Ozzy cover should have been Paranoid or Ozzy’s Crazy train that match more their sound.

I don’t think it is too bad, at least not to the extent of the reporters comments, Paranoid would have been a cool cover, but saying that I thought Megadeths cover on NIB was good

Re: Bez on Celebrity Big Brother in Chit-Chat

If the housemates were scared at times with Bez’s attitude, they would have been shitting themselves if Shaun Ryder had been there.
