Re: what was the last gig you went to? in Chit-Chat

Leigh Marklew works at Leeds Uni as a Senior Graphic Designer these days, they seem to do the odd gig to top up funds.

Singstar 24 Hour Endurance Charity Drive in Chit-Chat

Friend of mine is doing the above right now to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital as a thankyou. When Julian’s daughter Amelia was born, she was diagnosed with a congenital heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot. Thanks to the staff at Great Ormond Street Hospital Amelia successfully had surgery to fix her heart last year. You can watch the challenge on http://www.julianhill.tv/singstar/ and donate at http://www.justgiving.com/JulianHillGOSH

Go on. Be nice.

Re: UK Tour April 2012-CONFIRMED in Therapy? Live

Newcastle often gets some twats at gigs I’ve found. First time I saw T? on the SP-YF tour a guy was deliberately punching people in the pit, he went to the bog and was followed and had the shit kicked out of him.

Re: What’s EveryOne Listening To in Other Bands & Artists

Black Spiders - Volume
T? - ABCOL
Various - Discover (it’s a label compiation of some electronic stuff, pretty good in places)

Awesome times, my friends. Great to see everyone and I met Colin and Beefgrinder for the first time - a pleasure, gents!

We got packed off upstairs so I was a bit peeved to not see more of everyone but we made the most of it. A shame more of you couldn’t stick around afterwards, big cheers to WP and Monkfish for playing out though :D

Royally paying for it today. Good to see you again, hopefully won’t be 5/6 years until the next time!

Black Spiders were really good, wasn’t massively impressed with Skindred, they seemed to be going through the motions.

Fab Cafe is decent, I don’t really go for clubs so maybe Hooch has a better idea.

Dunno if Long Distance would work as an acoustic (love to be proven wrong!) something about the riff and drums as it opens that puts a huge smile on my face,

Escobar and Carpe Diem are both close to the venue and acceptable for drinks. What time y’all getting to Leeds? Carpe does good, cheap food if you need to eat.

Victoria is fairly close too.
