Re: mike patton/tomahawk in Other Bands & Artists
i went to see tomahawk last night and they were brilliant. mike patton is truly amazing! dalek, the support act, was alright i thought..
at one time, during the gig, mr patton went down to the bar and took a drink with a girl in the crowd.. and he was his own roadie, setting his gear up just before they went on stage.. how cool is that??
so, if you want to see how it should be done, don’t miss tomahawk..!

Re: Supercharger in Other Bands & Artists
robby, live is another thing. i saw them last year at the roskilde festival in a tent in front of 20.000 people and they were great. there was some real energy, which is not so easy to create on a record. they played for two hours (that’s a LONG time being a festival gig, screwed up the playing schedule totally) and they played a lot of old songs too, davidian, ten ton hammer, take my scars etc.. i had that concert in my top 5 list somewhere else on this board. i just don’t like supercharger except the songs i mentioned..

Re: Megadeth or Metallica in Other Bands & Artists
i agree, especially master of puppets is a masterpiece.. that bass-solo in ‘orion’ is pure brilliance. hail cliff burton! i haven’t heard that much megadeth though.. i have to admit i can’t stand his singing style, it sounds like he’s suffering from a constipation (is that the word?)

Did anyone got see them on the reunion tour they just did?
Me and my girlfriend went to see them last Sunday and it was the most intense thing I’ve ever witnessed!!! I’m still excited about it! We also got the opportunity to chat with them for a while and they’re extremely nice and down to earth.. any BIT fans in here?

Re: Courtney Love in Other Bands & Artists
…and some more useless info. Jack Endino recorded their album Spanking Machine in 1989. The circle is closed. :-Þ

Re: Courtney Love in Other Bands & Artists
If we’re about to list female voices (I just love to list things) then these must not be forgotten;
Suzi Gardner - L7
Donita Sparks - L7
Kat Bjelland - Babes In Toyland
They all rock as hell!! (just go out and buy Smell The Magic or Bricks Are Heavy by L7 and you know what I mean). I believe Babes In Toyland were buddies with Therapy? in the early 90’s. The drummer Lori Barbero took the back photo of Caucasian Psychosis..

What biography was it? My girlfriend has the one written by Poppy Z Brite. Damn it I wish I had the time to read more books.
