Re: I just bought… in Other Bands & Artists

I thought it was time to replace some old cassettes and bought
Sick Of It All - Spreading The Hardcore Reality
Sick Of It All - Built To Last
Clawfinger - Deaf Dumb Blind
Bad Religion - Recipe For Hate

and the other I bought
Bad Religion - New Maps Of Hell
Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me - Original Soundtrack
Lost Highway - Original Soundtrack
Johnny Cash - The Man Comes Around
Justice - Escapades
Ministry - Side Tracks (actually my boyfriend bought this one, but it’s got all the songs of Pailhead on it, which I was looking for) :)

Yeah, their myspace says November, I am looking forward to November. :)

Soon? Not before November I thought :-(
And they’re touring Europe at the moment … and again, not ONE show in Belgium

Re: I just bought… in Other Bands & Artists

Early last week:
Therapy? - Music Through A Cheap Transistor

Today:
Madball - Infiltrate The System
Ignite - Our Darkest Days ltd. tour edition (already had the regular version, but couldn’t resist the 2 bonustracks and the video of Bleeding)
Tribute to Sick Of It All - Our Impact Will Be Felt

i mean, metallica are taking 4 years

guns n roses. 16 years and fucking counting!! (what is axl rose doing, having a wank?!)
green day, 4 years

The first two shouldn’t have released another album, same counts for Gun ‘n’ Roses. As for Tool, the album they released is yet again pure quality, and well worth the long wait. It probably wouldn’t have been so fantastic if they’d release an album every year.

As for Greenday, I’ve nothing against them, but I think it’s good they don’t release too much albums, they all sound pretty much the same

Re: Nine Inch Nails in Other Bands & Artists

I didn’t like Survivalism, untill I heard it live… now I can’t stop listening to the studioversion, amazing song! :)

Re: Nine Inch Nails in Other Bands & Artists

if anyone still wants tickets for Humo’s Pop Poll tonight, they can be picked up in Gent, between this and half an hour :p
(thank god we got those for free)

Re: Nine Inch Nails in Other Bands & Artists

Hey come on, Therapy? showed up there in 1995, unexpected!! … who knows :D

There were plenty ticketsellers in front of the AB yesterday, but I just want to be sure, guess it’s too late for that :(

Re: Nine Inch Nails in Other Bands & Artists

 What the hell was that!? I’m dying from jealousy myself right now. I’m trying to get rid of my tickets for Humo’s Pop Poll for tonight, and try to get my hands on tickets for NIN tonight… anyone wants to trade ;)

Re: Rock Werchter 2007 in Other Bands & Artists

Personally I think the bill for 2007 is very sad… :o

Re: Nine Inch Nails in Other Bands & Artists

I saw them for the first time at Werchter 2005, and I’ll be seeing them again tonight… I’m not a big fan though, just know some of their hits, but I’ll be there holding Spaceball 1’s hand while he’s duying from jealousy because his mate won a meet and greet with the band.

Re: cable / beyond in Other Bands & Artists

Oh, nevermind, I found out all about it here

Also check out a fansite (myspace) of The Beyond to hear some of their tunes.

Re: cable / beyond in Other Bands & Artists

I read somewhere on the net that The Beyond turned into Gorilla… since there’s a lot of crap on the net, is that true?

Re: cable / beyond in Other Bands & Artists

now that’s interessting! i thought this can’t be true, since neil was never mentioned to be connected in any way to therapy? since he joined them and further he is way younger than the rest of the band.
wonder if thats true…

Therapy? have toured together with The Beyond, as their support act. Not a connection, but they did know each other.

They’ve got 2 albums out, Crawl (from 1992) and Chasm (from 1993), really worth checking out, personally I think Crawl is the best one. As soon as you put it on, you’ll no doubt recognise Neil’s amazing drumstyle :)

Re: Who sucks more, RHCP or Foo Fighters? in Other Bands & Artists

They both suck, but I go for the Peppers, as you see/hear more of them around here than the Foo Fighters. So I spend more time being bothered by them then the Foo’s.
They’re on more festival bills over here, or at least they’re higher on the bills, and so their name is displayed bigger on adverts, so you can’t ignore them anymore…
They’re just not good anymore.

Re: 5 Bands in Other Bands & Artists

Therapy?
Ramones
Cabron
NOFX

The last one I keep in option in case there will be a T? side project (Michael was talking about something like that last year, so hopefully it’s not a lost option).

Re: Help Me Choose A Band Logo in Other Bands & Artists

But I think if you leave off the pink thing (that what reminds me of the Tros-logo), I would go for logo 3.

Re: Help Me Choose A Band Logo in Other Bands & Artists

Punkwak, doesn’t that logo remind you of “Tros”, the dutch tv channel?

Posted on Wed, 20 December 2006 at 14:12

Re: Help Me Choose A Band Logo in Other Bands & Artists

Neither? :o
