Re: I name a song, you name a song beginning with the last letter of the previous song in Other Bands & Artists
As opposed to films, E isn’t such a problem for songs

Re: What CD’s (or Music DVD’s) Are On Your Xmas List? in Other Bands & Artists
It’s released in Belgium I guess, but we’ve never found it in a store. They always promise that it will be in stock very soon, they say that since the day of the release already :(

Re: Your albums of this year (2006) in Other Bands & Artists
Therapy? - One Cure Fits All
Cabron - Cabron
Ignite - Our Darkest Days
The Space Cowboys - Dead End Streets & Devil’s Night
NOFX - Wolves In Wolves Clothing
Motörhead - Kiss Of Death
I’m sure there was more, but that’s all I can think of at the moment…

Re: Admiral Freebee Rocks…!! in Other Bands & Artists
My favorite song of the album is I’d much rather go out with the boys” or the title track, I also love like that one a lot.
I’d like to go to the Mezz as well, it’s only 30KM from my home… but bad memories… ;)
We got lost in Breda last time Admiral Freebee played there, but it’s again an electric show (which I prefere above an acoustic) and that venue was just brilliant.
If I can convince Jan, I’ll definatly be there :D

Re: Admiral Freebee Rocks…!! in Other Bands & Artists
I bought the album, and I fucking like it… although there are some boring songs on it, but overall a fantastic album :)
I go to see them at the AB the end of this month…

(for example, try playing Meat Abstract straight after Sprung without adjusting the volume/bass etc.). Horrible.
Or the other way around… eardamage guaranteed :(
I think re-issues are very nice if they contain bonus material (the more the better :D) and/or a different package as the original release.

Re: Fugazi in Other Bands & Artists
You’ve got the complete wrong vision about Ian, that’s pretty clear to me. He isn’t telling anyone he’s straigt edge!? And he’s definately not baning on about it!
It wasn’t even his intention to create this straight edge movement, it just happened, but he doesn’t call himself straight edge at all, he just says he’s GOT the straight edge… most straight edge kids can’t say that!!

Re: Fugazi in Other Bands & Artists
Yeah, that’s also everything I know from The Evens, and if I got that right, that woman is his girlfriend.
I’ll check out Embrace for sure :)

Re: Fugazi in Other Bands & Artists
I never heard The Evens and Embrace yet, but Minor Threat and Fugazi are amazing, his project with Al Jourgensen, Pailhead was also very good.
I did hear Teen Idles long time ago, but can’t remember much of it realy… I must find that again somewhere :)

Good choice! I’ve been listening to those Minor Threat and Fugazi records last week as well… :)

Re: Motorhead in Other Bands & Artists
Damn… mine are still quite ok then if I read that. :o
Though I hear an annoying sound from time to time… it’s like a train is passing inside my ear :(

Re: Motorhead in Other Bands & Artists
Ooh good idea, if I didn’t forget by the time I’m home, I’ll squeeze a pair in my wallet :)

Re: Motorhead in Other Bands & Artists
I’d probably lose those expensive ones in no time… so I’ll stay with the cheap ones… the problem is though that I forget to take them along to concerts most of the time
They should be for sale in every venue, ear damage is no pleasure at all…
When I’m in a place where people are talking I can’t recognise the backgroundmusic anymore… very annoying if someone is asking you about the backgroundmusic: “what’s this band called again?” :o
So kids (and everyone with good ears)… protect your ears while you still can!!!!

Re: Motorhead in Other Bands & Artists
When I saw them the sound was great as well…
but my ears are pretty much damaged because I found out about earplugs way too late :(

Re: Motorhead in Other Bands & Artists
That’s probably why they play so loud :D
I saw them for the first time at Graspop Metal Meeting a few months ago, they blew me away. That’s why we’ll go to the Dublin gig as well. And maybe we’ll also go to see them in Brussels in November (if if would depend on me, we’ll go for sure!!!)

The Beyond in Other Bands & Artists
Title: The Beyond
Anyone heard anything of them before?
I was in a recordstore yesterday when I came accross their record “crawl” for 5 euro only…
Since Neil is playing drums on it, I didn’t doubt buying it. When I looked at the band picture it took me a while to find Neil between these 4 longhaired dudes… :D
For a very short moment I thought this couldn’t be the same Neil Cooper… but after playing it for a few seconds I recognised this crazy drums as the same kind of drums like those from the guy who’s currently (and I hope he never leaves it!) on the Therapy? drumstool :p
This is a great record, realy worth checking out, especially when you like Neil’s drumstyle!!
The only thing I don’t like is the vocals, but that’s probably just me… I easily grumble about the vocals…

Re: The Emotive Hardcore Thread in Other Bands & Artists
I used to like Leiah. a lot, a swedish emocore band, I don’t think they’re still around. I lost interest in 2002 but the albums that got released before that date are realy worth checking out, especially The Tigra Songs!
