Thanks for bringing back the “mark as read” feature, as I don’t read all the chit chat topics, they all stayed new/updated.

I’m missing the “mark as read” feature, or is it replaced and is it just me who can’t find it anymore?

I still visit the individual forums, but I also like the “new and updated” feature, so you’re sure not to miss anything. The new and updated is actually not much different from the number of new posts since your last visit on the old messageboards.

I’m liking the size of the buddy icons actually, on most messageboards the avatars seem to be more important than the posts if you look at the size of them. That’s what keeps me away from most other messageboards. These are just fine to me :)

What I find very interesting is that you can click your favorite bands/films in your profile and you see who else likes them. Gave me some inspiration on what to watch soon, and Teethgrinder, if you haven’t seen Frailty and Identity yet, I highly recomment you those, from seeing the films in your profile, there’s a big chance you will like them! (don’t shoot me if you don’t)

I don’t like to admit, but after testing the search function again, with the new info I just got from Teethgrinder, I must say you’re right mrs h, the search function IS an improvement… if you know how to work with it properly :-)

I’ve never seen my posts flash yellow, right after posting, only when I maked changes to my profile.

I don’t agree with this. I always selected a section, like for example “Therapy? live”, you get a lot less results that way, and it makes it easier to find the thing you were looking for.

I think it’s NOT a tongue, as originaly you had to type : - D to get it, which stands for a big smile. : - p stands for the tongue.

I’m starting to find my way on here again, I don’t see the same mess I saw during my the first 15 minutes on the new messageboards :)
Within a few weeks I probably don’t even remember it looked different in here …

I think a quoted post is a lot easier to read than an @-sign… by using the @-signs you have to scroll up again to see what the person who would have been quoted said… It goes a lot faster, you know if you didn’t visit the boards for a few days and there are like 500 new posts (I love to know EVERYTHING :P) you have to scroll up and down all the time, you’re getting a bit drunk… and if I would read all the new posts at work, my boss would know I’m doing something I may not…
He will fire me… you see what this can cause??? :(
