Lou requested a 3-way bravehaert, so there was no place to hide. And the fact that I’m still posting on here … well I guess that means I survived ;)

Sick Of It All yesterday, excellent show, the sound was a bit too loud though, forgot my earplugs again :( and the lightguy should get fired!!! Half of the time Icouldn’t see anything from stage because the stagelights were shining right in my eyes!!! But nevertheless great show!
Gorilla Biscuits last week were amazing as well!!

When I was in Paris a couple of weeks ago we saw a mother getting her young son to take a piss in the street in a fancy shopping district at mid afternoon.
I was at a free festival a few years ago, there was a mother with a young child standing behind me. The kid had to pee, instead of taking it to the (free) toilets, his mother took out an empty coke bottle, and let the kid pee in it (luckily it was boy ;)). The kid finished, and the mother emptied the bottle right where she stood,… behind me… I looked down saw it flowing right under my shoes

Re: What’s your WORST movie everyone? in Chit-Chat
I’ve seen Hostel yesterday, what a lame movie!!! I thought it was something in the vein of Saw (of which even the 3rd film is surprisingly good!).
I’m sure a story like that could make an amazing film, they just didn’t think it through enough. At times it was so exaggerated that it was more ridiculous than scary.

People trying to sell something on the streets, or collecting money for something stopping you with the line “Can I ask you a question?”
err… what do you think you just did!?

Re: Would you… in Chit-Chat
Dermot, I like you, I hate crowdsurfers, and I LOVE punching them :D
But to answer your question, No, I wouldn’t (damn, I’m not making myself very popular in this thread :o)
Would you give away your favorite dish to the 3rd world toddler standing next to you, if it was the very last time you could eat your favorite dish

Re: Would you… in Chit-Chat
No
Would you give a crowdsurfer that hurt you on his previous pass and extra punch?

Yes, and I’d do everything to get voted out as quickly as possible
Would you embarass your boss in front of a group of people if you had the chance (without him knowing who’s responsible)

No, unless it’s one of my brother or sister’s kids.

Re: what was the last gig you went to? in Chit-Chat
Also went to Pukkelpop, on Thursday and Saturday.
I only wanted to see Ignite and Iggy And The Stooges on Thursday, but predeicatble as Pukkelpop is both bands were schedueled at the same time :(
Well, I bought me ticket for Ignite in the first place, without knowing at that time Iggy and the Stooges would play there as well. So I went to see Ignite and didn’t regret it for a second.
We arrived late on Saturday, half an hour before NIN started, there was still plenty of space in front of the stage luckily, and they were amazing indeed! A pity from those cunts standing around me who ruined all of Hurt by talking and screaming :(
After that, went straight to Sonic Youth, they sounded good, but I had to leave early because I didn’t want to miss a part of Madball’s performance (schedueled at the same time as Tool :( ) they stopped about 40 minutes too early, but they played a great short set, and so I could still see most of Tool’s set (who had started 20 minutes too late) :)

Re: wereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee in Chit-Chat
This kind of reminds me of an incident that happened last year, around the same time, which I will not quote or link to out of respect for the other person involved.
I bet you know what I’m talking about, please don’t start again Gimme, this is the “General Therapy? topics” thread, not the “look how drunk/stoned I am” thread.

Re: Some great films coming out this year!… in Chit-Chat
I’d really like to see that one, but today ‘s the first day they show it in Belgium, so it’ll be too crowdy, and for some reason, people over here think that cinema is synonym for pub. They can’t shut their mouths, I might be old fashioned, but I like it to be quiet when I watch a film.
Therefor I should wait a few weeks to see it, but then there’s the risk the original version isn’t playing anymore, and I’ll have to go to the dutch version, … bye bye jokes…
What bastard did ever invent dubbed movies!? :(

Re: Transfer VHS to DVD (on PC) in Chit-Chat
some cables… but i’m very bad in naming them… I’ll try to describe, I’m sure someone on here can give the correct name of them)
- A scart-block where you can plug in an S-video cable and a sound cable (2 plugs, white (or black) and red)
- an S-video cable
- a soundcable (male) white or black and red on one side and a single plug on the other side, which is black (to plug in where you would plug in your headphones)
Before you buy these things, first check if your laptop has connections for these cables.
I hope this information was useful… :)

Re: Transfer VHS to DVD (on PC) in Chit-Chat
I’ve actually did the opposite recently. I bought a standalone, and it’s a lot easier (you don’t always have to mess with the cables) and faster, so far the quality is also better when I use a standalone DVD-recorder.
I always used Win-DVR to rip the video, to burn to DVD I used Nero, you can make basic menus with that… lately it only took my computer 6 hours to burn a dvd, (and since a good standalone dvd-recorder was still cheaper than a new PC, …)
Since last week I started ripping my videos with my standalone and transfer them to PC (my boyfriend’s, which is quite a bit faster than mine) and make menu’s with DVD-Lab, you can make very professional menu’s with it! Very nice program! :)
@ Kill Hill: If you succeed, any chance you’re interested in a trade?

Re: How to design a website? in Chit-Chat
I’m using dreamweaver to create my website, it’s a very easy program to use. If you can work with MS Word, you can work with Dreamweaver as well, it just doesn’t look very professional (but that could just be me) :D

Re: What’s the best way to get rid of spare gig tickets? in Chit-Chat
websites from radiostations or music magazines mostly have a messageboards, with a section for such things, or maybe the website from the venue.
That’s how I got rid of a spare ticket for the NIN concert in belgium, and found an other one for the day after :)

Don’t do it Interzone, she’s mean! She shot Spaceball 1, drove over his leg, and worst of all, pushed me into a puddle of mud.
She’ll do the same thing to you, as soon as she’s got the chance, she’s a psychopath… you know I’d never do such things to you, don’t you?
Unless you don’t vote for me of course :D
