Re: Live on Swedish radio in Therapy? Live
I’ve installed Direct Connect and checked the help page and they recomment to share at least 3 GB. I have a bit more than 3 GB at the moment, so I think that’s enough, but it says “could not get public hub list” … I don’t understand. :(

Re: genre in General Therapy? Topics
A heavy guitar rockband, alright I can live with that. I can also agree with the punk attitude, but I can’t agree with the metal riffs, ‘cause I can hardly stand metal riffs, and I really like Therapy?-riffs, so please leave the metalriffs behind! :)

Re: genre in General Therapy? Topics
I don’t hear any punk in their records, neither any metal…
They’re definatly a ROCK band

Re: top ten of 2002 in Chit-Chat
I’m sorry, my last answer in this tread should be in best songs for 2002.
Here are the best records for 2002
the spirit that guides us - the sand, the barrier
bad religion - process of belief
nofx/rancid - split
gorki - vooruitgang
queens of the stone age - songs for the deaf
nofx - 45 or 46 songs that weren’t good enough to go on our other records

Re: top ten of 2002 in Chit-Chat
The spirit that guides us - Agnes
Bad Religion - Broken
Nofx - I’m the one (rancid cover)
Gorki - het voorspel was moordend
Queens of the stone age - no one knows
Damn, I can’t think of more at the moment, 2002 was not such a good year for new releases I guess… or maybe I just didn’t discover them yet.

Well, there’s a garden behind the club, and there is a wall around the garden, so it’s possible to do it that way, but before they where spreading this rumour, i didn’t realise, …
So, if you ever come to see a show in my town, … don’t pay, just climb the wall!
by the way The Spirit That Guides Us is playing there tonight, …

Re: Immigrants in Chit-Chat
Mostly I don’t have problems with immigrants, they just don’t have to try to rule our country. There are some places in Antwerp you don’t feel safe at night, some not even during the day, I guess every city has this problem. But there are as well some very nice places in Antwerp with lot’s of Turkish people, that may be mentioned as well! Some people only see the bad things, but most of those immigrants have political problems in their countries. There won’t be so many people who just leave their family and friends to live in a complete strange country, in such poor conditions, … as long as they try to find a job and don’t cause troubles than everyone is welcome for me!!!
But than there’s another thing, I live very close to the border of Holland, they all come over the border, if you’re in my town, you’d swear you’re in Holland!!! :)
I cannot blame these people either, they pay less taxes in Belgium, they’re able to build a house overhere, which doesn’t seem to be so easy in Holland. But the negative thing about it is, … they make it almost impossible for me to stay, … They make the prices of our houses and our land rise like hell!!! :(

Re: favourite band from your country? in Other Bands & Artists
Circle is an amazing belgian band, they play hardcore-punk with rock’n roll influences, have great lyrics, …
to hear there sound check http://www.pyrrhus.be/sounds/sounds.html and it’s the first record of the latest releases.
Gorki is great as well, but their lyrics are in dutch and they’re already well known in the dutch speaking countries.
White Circle Crime Club is a nice band as well, they sound like Fugazi

I just know their singles, and I have a single compilation which is nice, but the rest I don’t know. I don’t really like Tom Barman

They play in Kontich tonight, I’ve been doubting to go, but I’m not going, I’ve seen them on Pukkelpop, they where nice, but I don’t feel like listening to folkmusic tonight.
Blood or Whiskey are also very nice, and they’re real Irishmen!!!

No, I’m not a sell out!
It’s just one of my favorite songs by NOFX, another great song of them is ‘fun things to fuck’ but I didn’t really feel like calling myself like that.
