Another movie which uses this style of filmaking ive saw advertised recently, a spanish film called ‘REC’. looks promising for a scare or two. surprised its been shown here in belfast must check it out

Aye i was glad i went to see cloverfield in the cinema, some great scenes, liked the subtle shots of the ‘beast’ (whatever the fuck it was) amongst other things. dunno if will buy the dvd but. bought ‘the host’ on dvd and have only watched it once but its defo better than godzilla. as you know, a lot of people where put off by the way cloverfield was filmed as in the ‘blair witch project’, i think both these movies suffered from ‘hype’ exposure, which caused a lot of people to say they where shit just because the way they where filmed, even if they hadnt seen it! What!?

I went to see someting called ‘get cape wear cape fly’ here in belfast with my girlfriend, wasnt really ‘my cup of tea’ but just went to do the noble thing cause she wanted to go, but i should have said NO! fuck that lol.

I think Resident evil 4 was a brilliant game i got it on the gamecube, was one of the few games i actually bothered to finish. cant for res evil 5. talkin about res. evil 5 did anyone see that crap online about it being ‘racist’? but hopefully they will eat their words because it is said it might be set in Haiti which is where the ‘zombie’ thing originated from.

Thanx for the advice there folks, good to know that there are some people left in the world that arent total arseholes. got a few ideas from your replies on what to do about the problem, obviously in a perferct world a hanging would be in order but that aint gonna happen so ill try to sort something out. I’m feeling really strung out at the moment - i just started this new job and it seems okay so far apart from one slimey dickhead i work with who is rude to me and tries to make a dick out of me when i am doing something or speaking to him. i think this might be because i feel really uptight and nervous around strangers etc which might show signs of me being an ‘easy touch’ if you know what i mean. he rudely asked me to do things today y’know like ‘get me this’ type of shit. i dunno what do you do. i know you might say tell him to go fuck his mother or something but i cant seem speak out against these dickheads. was thinking of just quitting and finding something where i can work alone

talking abouts fucked up dreams : when we were kids (9/10) me and my sister had the same nightmare for about 2 years that this man in a black cloak thing would come and take us away in the night when we were asleep - always thought that was pretty strange.

It doesnt matter if you know what happens in the film its the performances/dialouge/songs that make it that good so…i’m talkin about the original 1972 one and not the remake with ‘Nic’ cage - or whatever he calls himself

I done an A level in History and it was broken into an AS level one term and an A2 level the next term, with each having three modules and exams, so yours might have a simliliar format.

Well given the concept of people getting turned on by car accidents, you could see why Crash can be seen as being a terrible film. but i thought it was good, some hilarious moments/dialogue too. wouldnt be one to put on for the girlfriend mind.

I think that remake of the wicker man is worst for me, prob cause i really like the original one. A lot of horror ‘sequels’ seem to be pretty bad too, like those Amityville films, first one was nothing to write home about but the rest were terrible.

Something which is really bugging me is a problem i have with my ‘mates’ who ive been hanging about with for years, one of them asked me to lend him a ridiculous amount of money (which i didnt have to throw about, they all seem to think i’m sort of millionaire or summat) and when i said no they have all been different and theres been incidents of bitching etc about it. what a load of complete balls, i dunno whaddya do

I foolishly gave some twat nearly 4 thousand for a 1991 nissan 300zx and afterwards i discovered he had wound the mileage clock back! Probably going to have to sell it for parts now as it overheated because all the coolant leaked out and i drove it home, which apparently damages the engine even more.

Was it really good? i missed it cause it didn’t come out in the cinemas here. Has anyone seen Lynch’s twin peaks movie Fire walk with me, blew me away. maybe a bit silly in parts but was really cool

I really don’t think it matters that much to me what job i do, its just some of the dickheads you have to work with that ruin a job and make it shit. Ive only been in my new job for 3 weeks or something and some dumb slut co worker the other day, that i didnt even know started giving shit when we where working in the same section like she was ‘the boss’, y’know like ‘will you do this’ and ‘what are you doing’ blah blah blah, in this really patronising voice. Then the rest of the day she gave me dirty looks. i dunno why do they do it? Ah well hopefully she’ll have some kind of horriic work accident or something and i’ll get a laugh.

Wanted to say thanks for the replies there folks, good to hear some sensible views on the problem, where would you get it?
Now just have to break the ‘bad news’, probably be a lot of bitching and crap but what can you do? :(

In this ludicrous situation cause one of my mates asked me to lend him 20 thousand pound, cause he knows i am set to get money from the sale of my family business, which i am apparently going to get heavily taxed on. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

A guy out of work sent me a vid clip of some senator guy shooting himself at a press conference in the 1980’s, he hands out big envelopes to people then pulls a magnum out of the last one. Nasty

Bit off the wall, but hey? Just been looking at pics etc of ‘ghosts’ online and thought it would be worth asking for you folks opinions on the question - Do ghosts exist?
(I am 50/50 on the possibility cause i think i may have seen one many years ago).

My first gig was Iron maiden at the kings hall, was only 10 or 11 mind so i was only a child.
But i must say i am proud to say my second gig was going to a Nirvana concert with my brother in 1992 but again i was too young to appreciate it, i just remember being disapointed that kurt cobain just stood there and didnt thrash about and stuff like he did in their videos. And i remember seeing dave grohl running about with his bass drum on his back when they smashed stuff at the end.
Next gig was the mighty T? at the end of the Nurse tour at the Ulster hall.

I think the episode where he meets a bbc editor to see if he can have a second series of his tv show is the funniest thing ever.

Remember seeing this a few years ago and it was one of those that makes you think ‘why the hell did someone make this film’. I read in some movie magazine that someone is remaking ‘last house on the left’ a bit strange i think?
