Kidney is a good coach and a good coach doesn’t have misplaced loyalty to anyone but themselves. Pick the wrong players and you write your own p45 - simple! Good weekend of rugby made better by Dallagio throwing his toys out of the pram after the match. Stephen Jones match report in the Times today was so bitter - he really dislikes Munster (indeed anything Irish!)

I really feel let down. This Irish squad has so much talent and the potential to perform and at least compete against the big nations. I can’t understand why they have failed so badly - no-one associated with the squad can come back with their head held high. Its time to blood a lot of new players and to stop playing half reserve teams in the Celtic league - the players obviously need regular top wuality games not 6 to 10 european matches and about the same number of meaningful league games each season.

Fingers crossed. I agree with stringer being completely dropped - he hasn’t played well recently. Perhaps Murphy could come in at out half and take the pressure off ROG? Hopefully they’ll pull something out of the bag
