Re: i think my music tastes are changing… in General Therapy? Topics

I like the indie sounds that are imposed on the album, and am extremly impressed.

Re: Finally… I’m listening to HA!!! in General Therapy? Topics

It’s a shit hot album, just bought it today. I give it a thumbs up :D The last song ‘Rust’ has become one of my top 10 T? songs of all time. Anyone got round to listening to the secret track yet?

National Service… would you? in Chit-Chat

Title: National Service… would you?

I was having this conversation about if national service was introduced for the war on Iraq with my band mates. I told my mates that I would rather go to a military prison than fight a war against my own will. My mates though said that they would go to war out of respect to their mates and to help protect them as it is a matey thing to do. I said that if your mates had any respect for you, they would contemplate going to prison. What does everyone else think on this particularly pointless conversation?!
(please note: National service can not be introduced under the European human right act- so this is a complete fantasy issue!)

Re: War On Iraq in Chit-Chat

Why did the allied drop about 20-30 missiles on one building on Iraq last night? Thats a question I would like to ask. I mean, how much more stupid can you get than that? Thats taking extremes to the surreal extremes. One missile surely would have done it…actually being a pascifist I wouldn’t even agree with that.

Re: Therapy? fans and Therapy? drummers in General Therapy? Topics

By the way, cable are an awesome band- bringing in many emo-punk qualities to their music.
Being in a band myself, I feel that the drummer is perhaps the most essential part of a band and therefore derserve better exposure than what have.

By Iraqi law there is only one political party which is Saddam’s. It is a dictatorship

Re: Therapy and Christianity in General Therapy? Topics

I totally agree, the christianity element really does give a dark yet thoughtful feeling to the songs.

Therapy and Christianity in General Therapy? Topics

Title: Therapy and Christianity

Why do T? talk about Jesus and Judas in their songs, it’s a good twist to the songs, though it does confuse me. May it have something to do with cathology in Ireland and the trouble out there? For example on Troublegum and Infernal Love there are some mentionings.

Re: most sentimental T? song in General Therapy? Topics

I would have to say ‘Bad Mother’, makes the hairs stand on the back of my neck.

Jarcrew in Other Bands & Artists

Title: Jarcrew

Would like to say that Jarcrew are by far one of the most impressive upcoming Welsh rock bands. Saw them support INME on Tuesday night. Our band have received a reply from Jarcrew & they said they may play with my band sometime in the future :)

Re: Weirdest place you’ve found something Therapy? in General Therapy? Topics

My mate found a rare promotional CD in our college radio room, which was kinda odd. My mate nicked it and gave it to me!

Re: A Tribute toT? in General Therapy? Topics

Some ‘not very good pop-punky ska band’ like [spunge] doing a cover of loose would actually work I thinks.

Erm…I just said that I don’t agree with it White Pchycho. Me dad doesn’t necessarily agree with the class system, he just said that because thats what happens in our society. Sure its a misunderstanding

Re: genre in General Therapy? Topics

T? has its own genre, need I say anymore.

Re: Addressing people who are “Sir” in Chit-Chat

I must agree with ya. I dislike that stuff as well. If the Queen were to approach me this very second I wouldn’t bow down to her. Also this leads onto the national anthem. I thought national anthems were written to praise ones country and the people in it, not one human being who prances around with a crown on their head. You can never get rid of the class system though. Me dad has a saying-‘We’re all equals, but some are more equals than others.’

Re: Hallo in New Members (Introduce Yourself)

Born in a crash isn’t a particularly rare EP, though I had to go to Calais in France to purchase it!! Can’t tell ya much about Fyfe these days, but I’ll find out for ya all.

Hallo in New Members (Introduce Yourself)

Title: Hallo

Hiya. I’m James from Wrexham in North Wales. I am an A-level student and have been interested in Therapy? for some years, Troublegum being the first album I listened to. I’m in a rock band and have recorded demos and have sparked some interest from Epic Records. My favourite Therapy? possesions include a rare radio promotional CD for Suicide Pact and also the Born in a crash EP. One of my good girly mates sister’s boyfriend is mates with Fyfe Ewing and I’ve been trying to blag a signed drum stick from her!!! Oh well, nice to become a member and much respect to ya all!! Cheers!!
