Re: Going Nowhere? in Therapy? Live
Fictional?! Sounds scarey to me! But I’d be curious to read it :D
The best bit is the page dedicated to Gary Oldman. They’re big fans, I bet.
Funny they’re not here on the board. Ho well, that’s better otherwise it would be a mess..!
Don’t tell them i said that ;)

@Erin…”I’ve never been to the U.S.A.
I’m a slave on a minimum wage
Detroit, New York and L.A.
But I’m stuck in the U.K…”
Sorry, I couldn’t help it! Planet Funk ain’t my cup of tea but the song sounds funny and the lyrics reminded me of you.
Do you mind sending me your new addi again?? I think I deleted your mail by mistake or something..:s
Unfortunatly I missed the last PSI gig and I will always regret it. I managed to see 3CR and OMS though, I looked out for ya in the crowd since I thought you could be there as well but didn’t find you. Now don’t tell me you were there, you could have least let me know!
I downloaded a couple of songs from Pulse Ultra and I’m really getting into them, I might buy the album. Sure I remember your friends. Are they coming to see Therapy? with you? I know they’ve got this cool site which is never updated, ask them why. It’s got a Therapy? section but it’s been under construction for ages! The Scarey Movie featuring Idlewild is capital. I can only guess whose mind could have come up with something like that…;)

Re: … and TotalRock… in General Therapy? Topics
I’m forcing myself to spend every Saturday night indoors to listen to the Rock Show on Xfm. So far the guy* has been playing some new tracks (including Rust) and said that he’ll try to have tpy? in the studio in the next few weeks. So keep checking the website http://www.xfm.co.uk/therockshow and eventually send plenty of e-mails requesting more and more therapy? :D
*a certain Ian Camfield who voted Who Knows in his Top 5 as far as forthcoming releases are concerned :)

That gig was wicked, had a lot of fun. I wasn’t able to sleep when I got back home, I was so excited I kept remembering bits of the gig and laughing by myself (er, sounds crazy, I know). Great.

Re: An update from the studio in General Therapy? Topics
Amazing how Neil looks like Graham, in that picture.
And news about C. Sheldon working with Therapy? is just terrific! I loved the early stuff from Feeder and Idlewild produced by him - not to mention Troublegum, of course..

Re: Hooch is a crap moderator in Chit-Chat
I’m a Shugyosha, so work it out! Of course I’m into Usagi Yojimbo, it’s a cult! But I had to get the old books via internet and spend quite a lot of money too. If you just check the official site/comic book buyer’s guide, many will be the chances for you to get lost.
It’s cool to see that you’ve heard of Usagi, Kyra. By the way, I thought about your signature for ages until I realised it was taken from Taproot’s “I”. Do you like them at all? They will be playing in London next Saturday, I’ve already got my ticket to see them :D

To be honest this landscape reminds me of feudal Japan back the 17th century. Perhaps I’m smoking dangerous stuff for my mind. I’ll be damned if that is not…Miyamoto Usagi! Honour to you, o Ronin.

Re: best movies in Chit-Chat
Well, I meant Robin Williams is one of my favourite actors ever. Not that I actually loved every movie he’s done. It’s strange how he can still look very sad even when he’s playing a comic role. I guess that’s why I’ve always found him so interesting.

Any movie by Woody Allen,
Any movie by Blake Edwards,
Anything starring either Edward Norton or John Cusack or Dustin Hoffman or Robin Williams.

Ah, only men can tell. :P
I seem to hurt myself badly all the time without noticing. Later on I either start feeling pain or find myself bleeding and can’t see where the hell the blood comes from. That is what I call scary.

Re: A Tribute toT? in General Therapy? Topics
Six Mile Water by Deftones.
Pitchshifter covering Innocent X.
Earthone9 together again just to do Unbeliever.
And I’d love to hear SOAD doing a cover of Teethgrinder. BTW, I DID steal THAT album :D
There would be many many more covers but that was really a difficult question and I can’t think of anything else right now!

Re: Wheeeeeeeee in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
:D
I can’t believe you know Nana! And yes, obviously I too am reading it. I usually get the magazine Cookie from Japan and that’s how I found out about the new Ai Yazawa story. I’m not much into Shoujo Manga anyway, way too romantic for me! I prefer science fiction, action/space epic, even comedy (see Doraemon), Demons&Angels, battles and fighting. Don’t ask me how I’ve gotten into Nana then!

Re: which Christmas Ghost would you like to be? in Chit-Chat
Ha, this is one of those questions I’ve always wanted to be asked.
I hate to be the odd one, but I would probably be the Ghost of Christmas Future. I would like to be the one to scare someone into straightening up. Then I would probably be laughing under my hood…

Re: Wheeeeeeeee in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
The worst place for a newbie are RolePlaying chatrooms. You’ve got to be very careful the way you write the story, and the typing. “Thou shalt not use capital letters”___aaah get lost! If you do make some mistake they’ll go, boo-hooooo she’s a newbieeee
Hey Kyra (Sto Helit?), what do you know about Black Stones? :D

:D
I’m another supporter of this Liam Lynch (who’s this guy anyway, I’ve never heard of him before). That song is so funny, thanks to Kyra for posting its lyrics.
And come on, let’s say “Save You” by Pearl Jam is one good song of this year. After all, the post doesn’t say BEST SINGLES, simply best songs. Isn’t it?
p.s.: I actually prefer “Can’t keep” from “Riot Act”.

Re: Wheeeeeeeee in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
Thanks people! This place is just lovely. I’m saying that because many message boards are not so kind, full of anger and hatred and members sort of cyber-shouting to each other.
I’m not from Japan but I can say I’m mad about this country. I’m studying their language, I’m still a beginner and my Japanese literally sucks:(

Re: 5 years ago Today in Therapy? Live
I was at the London gig too, great night. 2 bands supporting is sometimes boring but it was worth waiting. I was at the front too, just near a setlist. I heard someone asking to read the songs on it and I was like, “shut up shut up shut up” ‘cause I didn’t wanna know before time what they were going to play!
I had never been to the Ocean before, cool venue but the area doesn’t look very safe especially when it’s dark. Anyway, it’s nice to recall the good times :D

Re: Cheers T? in General Therapy? Topics
This thing reminds me of a friend of mine living very far from me, leaving mails, e-mails and chatrooms as the only options to hear from each other. There was a time she was online ‘til late every night and it was cool to talk so often. I had found out she had just met a guy on the internet, who also lived quite far from my friend, and the only reason why she was so often online was to talk to him. It surprised me because she would always complaining about how tired she was and everything, yet she would stay up all night at the internet cafe. Now she’s not doing that anymore. The “affair” with the guy didn’t work, so no more point to log on to chat. I do sometimes ask her if she’s up for a quick chat just to see how things are going but the reply is the same every time: she’s tired or busy or depressed. The thing is, friends who just find themselves someone of the opposite sex - in some cases the same sex - usually take their best friends for granted. They ignore you for months while they can’t go out unless their bf/gf is with them and they think you will always be there for them. They can’t ingore their partner because, God knows, maybe they’re scared to lose him/her.
Then your phone is ringing and you see their number calling you, and you suddenly think, “oh, they split…”
