so just before i made my purchase i went to my local shop to see if i could find any good guitars around the same price i’d feel really good about..

and i fell in love with an ltd viper 2005 (30th anniversary edition) and ended up buying that… it looks kind of like an sg but not really…

i really loved how i felt playing it and also i was amazed by its sustainability. i also liked the fact that it’s stringthrough as what i have and have always played was floyd rose tremolo locking systems. i thought something different in my equipment could a lot of diversity.

i tried it for quite a while in the shop and it didn’t get out of tune or anything and i’m gonna pick it up today (due to some credit card problems in the shop) and i’ll make sure i check it out once again just in case…

i’d heard negative things about ltd before but this guitar just made me fell in love with itself…

i also tried an ibanez along a same price range with a few other ltds but none of them felt as good as this one…

thanks all of you for helping out… it was probably all of your insistence that made me go and try a few others from the local shops anyway… i could probably find the same guitar a bit cheaper online but it’s probably better to get what you play anyway…

this is not going to be my first guitar…

i’ve been through what you’ve been telling me…

in this case i do not have the option of trying it… i am asking the opinion of those who might have tried any of those guitars…

i can afford gibsons as i said…

i can afford gibson les paul menace, gibson les paul special faded, gibson les paul special with humbuckers, gibson les paul vintage, gibson sg classic with p-90 humbuckers, gibson sg special, gibson sg menace, gibson faded sg special, gibson les paul special with humbucker…

my problem is i haven’t tried most of these guitars… my local store had gibson sg special faded and honestly when i played it i thought it wasn’t worth its price at all… but that is the cheapest guitar there… i’ve also been hearing that gibsons have poor quality control so you might get really lucky or unlucky with them i don’t know if that is true…

because i’m gonna buy it online (the site is really cheap the prices at my local store is about twice they have it online) i’m having many doubts… if i could afford it i’d go for a les paul studio or custom but unfortunately i can’t… i was hoping the menace would have better quality than the specials but i’m no gibson expert at all… i’ve just wanted to get a gibson les paul pretty much all my life but never thought i could afford one. now that i can i wonder if i should get one of the lower models or should wait until i have enough money for a custom.

i play mainly metal, punk and rock… i don’t think i’ll ever play blues or jazz but still i’d like to have a guitar that gives me a certain diversity, with nice clean tones as well…

well i’m planning to buy it from that site so for me what’s important right now is to find a place where i can actually try it :D

studios are about 300 bucks more than i can afford… i never actually tried this but the menace looks really cool too…

Title: Andy’s Les Paul

Does anybody know what model andy’s new les paul is? I know he’s been using SG’s but right now I’m considering on buying a new guitar and I’m wondering if I should get a Gibson…

I can afford Gibson Les Paul Special and Gibson Les Paul Menace… Also some SGs…

I was thinking on getting the Menace but I still need to find and try it somewhere…

I was wondering what model Andy’s guitars were to see if I could actually afford those (but probably not :( )

whilst i pursue my way unharmed is just a little less thaan 666 seconds as they recorded sounds from a mall for 666 seconds but speeded the track up a bit towards the end…

the song itself (without sister and the pause in between) is 12:47 long to be exact.

i’m kind of sad that we don’t get an actual cd for it… then again i’ll definitely get it and this will be the first time i’ll ever pay for an mp3

but 3 new songs make it definitely worth it.

i have to say i really enjoy reading the diaries as well. it’s not boring at all… i appreciate the time michael puts into writing the diaries to keep us all informed :)
