In summary, the reviewer is not really a fan of Therapy?, and, to be honset, he expects nothing from the album, however he blows his mind to listen to it.

Nothing for me too, i stopped to listen at 16pm…

Fuck, Fuck, Fuck! For the moment is difficult to find very good reviews on crooked timber. Nevertheless, i’m sure is a BIG album (previews on amazon are very interesting).

I don’t think so…The three guys are very appreciated in France. Everybody is agree to say that Therapy? is very awesome and excellent live band (live reviews are always very good). But french people have always Troublegum as reference, and don’t understand that Andy and co. don’t want to do a second troublegum opus. Sometimes, french people don’t have a open mind…We are not “aware” as Jean claude van damme says! lol

Not a bad review, but the french press seems to be a lot af difficulty to undrestand this multi-atmosphere album. Altough several songs are very appreciated, the french reviewers are a bit lost with crooked timber : They found it incoherent…I’m sure i will find it EXCELLENT!!!

A new french review with a 7.5/10 for crooked timber!

According to the reviewer, this new opus seems to be more experimental, more complex and really very good! No problem with the voice of Andy which is completly in phase with the instrumentation!!!
Magic Montain seems to be really…magic! Exils is atmospheric, groovy and dark.
Clows galore alternates noisy guitars and and very big metal riffs…etc.

The drums and bass are both excellent and complex with numerous breaks and rhythmic changes.

In my knowledge, that is the first french review of crooked timber…and the result is not very good. 4/10 only!

With my poor english I can’t translate this review, but in summary the reviewer thinks:
- Good rhythmic session
- No melody
- Leader voice is soapy
- The album is boring
- Only 2 good songs : Magic Mountain (because Andy doesn’t sing!!!) and Exils

That’s all, but in my opinion that is the reviewer who is rubbish!

MTV Unplugged is (was?) a Americain tv show where rock bands proposed accoustic versions of their songs.

The Alice in chains acoustic show is purely fantastic.

I agree with you when you say that new material sould be rock, punk et metal!

But a acoustic session of 10-15 tracks would be very cool!

And what do you think of the “MTV unplugged” concept?

Alice in chains and Nirvana were undoubtly a grunge metal bands. However their acoustic albums are really great and different!

I hope the same for Therapy?
