Bach is a badass singer, but I think his ego is ridiculous. I can’t imagine he’d be a good fit with the band. I personally think Weiland was the problem here. Considering that Slash, Duff, and um…the drummer (haha) have been playing together for so long, it would strike me as odd if they were the problem behind this split. Weiland has always been a bit of a drama queen.

You know what, they should get Keith Caputo from Life Of Agony on vocals. First off, he’s a great guy. Secondly, he’s ten times the vocalist Weiland is, but at the same time he can sometimes find himself sounding a lot like Weiland.

Check out the song “Troubles Down” from his newest solo album. That’s actually a heavy song—relatively speaking—for his solo stuff, but that could be a Velvet Revolver song. He’d be a good fit for the band, but I don’t know if he’d go for something like that.

I wouldn’t mind “Valentines Day” and “Freeze The Remains.” Would someone mind e-mailing them to me? I know I’m not a prominent poster here, but I’m a big fan. This is actually the first time I’ve even heard of these two songs, which is surprising to me.
