Re: THERAPY? in TNT in General Therapy? Topics

Title: 1st Question was Mine…

Hi guys…

First question in the interview was mine…
It was actually quiet simular with the question from Jelle…

I noticed that the new album in comparance with the last 2, 3 previous ones, sounded hard as well, but again, I could hear some “metallic” sounding melodies again, which reminded me of Infernal Love’s track Misery. I asked Andy if that was a well considered choice to bring back the melodies, or if it was just a coincidence…

So he answered indeed, they grabbed back to some more melodious riffs, in the meantime trying not to lose too much of that hard sound…

I did won a signed copy of the new album… guess I was quiet fast with my answer to his question “Who wrote slaughterhouse five” on which their song “walk through darkness” is inspired on.

See you all in AB in Brussels on the next T? gig!

Cheers

Title: One Cure Fits All — the saga continues

No Sister, I was not at the front row…
Anyhow… I already bought the new album One Cure Fits All, and I must admitt: Yet after few listenings, this is one of my favorite T? Albums! A great combination of the latest harder rock sound, with the metallic sounding melodies of Infernal Love… T? at his best! 2Night they will be @ studio brussels TNT (with Ronald) from 20 till 21 hours… (http://www.stubru.be —> listen live !!!!)for presenting their new album!
Again they rock like they should!

Anyone going to AB in May? I’ll be there!

Re: Martin leaves Therapy? a 3 piece in General Therapy? Topics

Title: Like cutting off a leg

Hi,

heard the news earlier, but found only time now to react. I don’t think it has anything to do with sack someone or don’t like someone or lowering costs… Seems to me that maybe they had an other perception of how T? would of should sound like in the future… could it be that?

Anyway, I met T? in Brussels last year, after their show in the Botanique, and also had some chitchat with Martin. Great guy!

For me also he has been a very important T? member with great influence on their sound, especially when performing live…

T? will never be the same…
Nevertheless they will certainly keep up the good rocking mood… no doubt ‘bout that…

but I’ll miss Martin! Good luck fellow, see you around!

Hi guys, i had the opportunity to go see their live gig in the Marconi Studio at Studio Brussel, where they were performing just after Janez Detd. -the belgian punk rock band which latest album was mastered by A. Okay, I appreciate your opinions, maybe I expressed myself a bit to strong on the other albums, ‘cause I like them also, but I prefer (that’s a difference) troublegum. I get wild hearing screamager, trigger inside e.o.
Some of you talk about a great album (read: high anxiety)but the album is unfortunately still not released in Belgium. Is it anywhere else yet released? I’m gonna buy it anyway, even as it rocks as hard as SP-YF. But as said by some of you, it’s a matter of taste, and everyone’s taste is different. And that’s good. So thanx for your replies and maybe we meet at a T? concert, who knows… hope to see them perform at Rock Werchter, let’s hope…

What’s to be expected of the new album? in General Therapy? Topics

Title: What’s to be expected of the new album?

I really like Therapy? and living in Belgium I saw them perform 11 times now. It’s not that I dislike their latest albums, but I prefer the Therapy? albums such as Troublegum and Semi-Detached. This is where Therapy? scores the best, everybody’s going crazy during live performances, during listening the cd at home… The latest albums are more hardcore and not so easy listening as before. Working with the producer of Troublegum and Semi-Detached made me feel happy, also as Therapy? promised to release the best Therapy? album so far… but as I listen to “Hey Satan, You Rock” on http://www.spitfirerecords.com/Therapy.htm I fear the worst. Yet another hard, non-therapy? album. So sad… There is no more drumming like Fyfe or Graham, there is no more guitar sound like in troublegum, there is no more fun in it, just straight rock… Shouldn’t Andy and co. realise that their fans keep following their work because they keep waiting for another troublegum, but get dissapointed time after time… I did not hear the other songs yet, but if they seem to be like “Hey Satan, you rock”, Therapy? loses a Belgian fan, and I will not be the first, neither the last…
Come on Therapy?, surprise us, with the greatest album ever, a real therapy? one, we keep hoping, but hope floats…
