The reviews in Germany are indeed bad, as far as I read. The same as it was with Crooked Timber. The last time I read a really really euphoric and good review was for Suicide Pact in a 1999 Visions magazine. There it was even “Record of the month”. Maybe the reviewers here need some label money to write good reviews:-s

As for me, this record is really great, maybe the best of the after-Suicidepact-releases. It’s the only one since then on which I really like all songs. Have really to control myself to not listening to it all day long.

I like the Gold one more. Sounding much deeper with the samples. I’m not a big fan of remixes though.

My first purchase was Nurse in 1996. In that year a friend of mine had lent me some Therapy? Cds and I became addicted. My first purchase on the day of release was the Church of Noise single, followed by Semi-Detached. Semi-Detached was kind of a letdown after the Church of Noise single, because to me especially the b-sides rocked and in my opinion the album didn’t keep the promise. Strangely enough, today I think of this record as a really strong and underrated one, good vocal melodies and good lyrics meeting deeply complected guitar and cello work. The most impressing record at day of release and the following months to me was Suicide Pact.
