Re: T-shirts more expensive than a CD?!?! in General Therapy? Topics
Most important reason is that merchandise sales go directly to the band. Record sales are down and sales of CDs probably earn the band almost peanuts…

Usual negative comments and basically saying that the band is a wanna be Helmet clone that never got there. Gave it 5/10 - what a negative cunt…
Why don’t the Germans love this band anymore???
Germans don’t love anyone anymore, probably never loved anyone ever…Look at them trying to rule EU again with all their political and finance shit. Angela the Adolph of the 21st century…

Re: A Brief CracK Of Light in General Therapy? Topics
The following is my translation from album review from Greek website http://www.rocking.gr Excellent review I have to say!
The return of Therapy?, 3 years after Crooked Timber and 21 years from their debut, shows that the Irish trio are still in great form with signs of new elements into their music. Looking into their music progression and listening to ABCOL the first thing that comes in mind is that this band has been so underated throughout their career and secondly they never seem to draught from inspiration for rough and lowtuned riffs.
The nice thing about their new album is that they maintain the raged vocals and sound of Crooked Timber, and this is clearly being shown with the two opening tracks LITSOTTT and PB. Both step on music that has been done from T? before but with no doubt are a powerful and ideal start to the album. And then the big surprise is there. A more melodic sound to the heavy, rough alternative metal they has given us so far. Marlow doesn’t have the thunderous raged lyrics that define Therapy?’s existence, but a more mere, light riff with guitars and high pitched vocals (doubt if Andy could have made those). In a few words these characteristics would more match a song in Muse’s discography without this being sarcastic in any way. It just shows that Therapy? Can indeed include in their sound new effects with a more modern alternative rock pitch and at the same time it shows their flexibility. Both these show that they do tend to evolve and renew. This is shown with Before you, with you, after you which has some nice melodic tunes at parts but also more Therapy? “classic” signs. So after showing us that they are all set for renewal they return to the well known hard side with the acoustic explosions of Why Turbulence (that explains why they have been called In the past the Irish Metallica) and Ghost Trio that travel the listener into darkness. In addition this is the lyrics’ font Therapy? Pick for ABCOL. The darkness mixes excellently with the drums blast that keep the listener in speed rythyms and finally make it sounding beautifuly dangerous.
Overall the new T? work rope balances between their new style and their good old tried steps despite the short duration of the album. But on the other hand why have fillers like others do? ABCOL is easily more genious, catchy and easy listening than Crooked Timber but that doesn’t make it as a commercial one (in the bad way). It is characterized by a raged punk and dynamic rock In the limits of metal riff. Weird combination if you think about it, but this is what Therapy? Have always done!

Erm, do you know what parody (greek word it is, it may well all be greek to you?) means? what are you talking about? Parody means that T? made this shirt to laugh at the Ramones. Tribute is the opposite…You can only be forgiven since you are from Glasgow (and I lived in Glasgow for 7 years) if you tell me which footie End you support, make the right choice! lol

Re: First T? show of 2011 confirmed! in Therapy? Live
petri :) i thought there was something wrong there lol. anyway, listen up. If you go by bus (national coaches) I am not sure when there are buses to go back. If you go by train, I don;t know how you gonna get to the venue from the train station. Think of the venue as a place in the middle of nowhere on the huge motorway going from athens to Thessaoniki. So not so easy top get and stop there without a car. So I would recommend your best choice is. 1 rent a car or 2 try this numbers here 0030 698 41 81 844 (mob) - 0030 697 58 89 254 (mob) - 0030210 9249330 (standard line) they are a private official coach/bus that arrange to take you to the venue and back for just 8 euros. Not bad I think ;) I would have offered for a list but no space in the car when going there…Maybe when we are getting back leaving “casualties” behind? lol

Why do you mention Thessaloniki then if you are arriving in Athens mate? Thessaloniki is 5-6 hours drive from Athens. You got me all confused here…Or you mean you wanna catch the bus to Thessaloniki and stop at Malakassa where the festival is?
