Re: Family Guy in Chit-Chat

The show was cancelled from the TV-station but due to popular demand and the success of the DVDs the creators have finished a fourth season which was supposed to only be released on DVD. But apparently it is going to be aired on BBC.

Check out the interview on this site for more: http://www.planet-familyguy.com/main.php

Damn you all ;)

I hope you don’t get your license back, cause when you still try to defend what you did, I don’t think you’ve learnt your lesson - no matter what you claim.

Re: An entire hour dedicated to Diane on Danish Radio in General Therapy? Topics

I don’t think so, but I was om the phone for 5 minutes towards the end of the show so I might have missed it. But I also think the show was a bit old, maybe a rerun (it was kind of a documentary) as they spoke as if Martin was still in the band.

I’ll contact the radiostation to find out if they’re putting it in their online-archive and to learn more about the guy who produced it. It was actually a very good show - especially for me as I understood the narration between the clips of interviews.

Not as far as I know, but I rarely listen to that particular channel, it was a total coincidence that I tuned in. Maybe I should ;)

Re: An entire hour dedicated to Diane on Danish Radio in General Therapy? Topics

As we speak, YES.

But the show is mostly about the producer and his friends’ love for the song and how it defined and shaped their summer of 1995 - apparently all they did was listen to Infernal Love and Diane in particular because they could identify with the song etc.

Re: An entire hour dedicated to Diane on Danish Radio in General Therapy? Topics

There are also bits of interviews with Andy and the author of the song, so if you can stand to listen to danish translations here is the link:

And while you are at it, vote for Therapy? (and others if you like) to play this year’s Roskilde fetival at: http://www.roskilde-festival.dk/object.php?obj=2bf000c&code=1

Already confirmed for this year are David Bowie and the Pixies. :)

Aside from that, … without being geeky and remembering it (though that would be good!) and without looking it up on the net… what was that quote from Bender when he ended up being golden-plated or someting smiliar…

It was a kinda “bite my shiny metal ass” but it wasn’t. And it wasn’t that. And it was only probably funny if you watch Futurama. And even that, you had to be there.
:)

“Bite my glorious golden ass”

It was in the episode with the parallel universe - It was Benders’ almost identical twin. Only he was golden.

Another classic is in the episode where Bender doesn’t want to get an upgrade, so instead he goes back to nature: “Bite my splintery wooden ass” :D

Re: Futurama in Chit-Chat

Well as good as The Simpsons is, I just think Futurama is a little better, especially as recently The Simpsons just seems to be about how many different “celebreties” they can get on the show. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the Simpsons, but nothing beats the dark irony of Futurama. I have all 4 seasons on DVD and I just watch them over and over again.

I have only seen a few episodes of Family Guy, so I can’t really tell how good that show is. It seemed very funny though. ;)

Futurama in Chit-Chat

Title: Futurama

Does anyone else love this show? It has to be the funniest cartoon ever on TV - personally I think it’s even better than The Simpsons and South Park. :D

Let me know if there are any other Futurama fans out there. And if you don’t know Futurama check out this site: http://www.fox.com/futurama/

Hai. Is it really all about the fingers? I think Martin’s really cute, but he’s too old for me. I prefer Neil. He’s such a sweetie. Although Mike’s got something special. And Andy, oh Andy, well he’s married so no option. Unfortunately.

Martin’s married too I think… but I don’t think he’s that old.

Hi Martin

Get well soon, we hope you’ll be back on stage soon, but in the mean time, why don’t you start writing some tracks for a new album? ;)

Re: What’s the “rarest” T? item available? in General Therapy? Topics

On a trip to Belgium a long time ago, I bought the Bad Mother single for what was then 270 francs, I’m not sure how much that is in Euro, but I guess it was quite cheap. I had no idea it was so rare.

Re: How do I get the girl I love back?????? in Chit-Chat

I agree with Alan, at least you deserve an explanation, just tell her that’s all you want (even if it isn’t completely true). It’s easier to deal wit if you know what the reason for her breaking up with you is.
Keep pushing for an answer, or ask some friends who might know. Only if you know the problem can you solve it.:(

Re: Gothenburg gig in Therapy? Live

Yeah that sucks, so I can either go to Kolding (!) or Gothenburg (or both). I think it will take as long to go to Kolding as to Gothenburg, so I haven’t decided yet. I’ve never been to Sweden for a concert, but since the swedish people who come to Roskilde rock it could be very good fun.
:D

Re: Gothenburg gig in Therapy? Live

I might come over from Denmark - now that we have that lovely (and expensive) bridge it shouldn’t take that long from Copenhagen. :)

Hmm - you’d never guess Lars Ulrich is from Denmark - I think he needs to pay a visit to his homecountry. :(

I really love Evan Dando, normally I’m not the biggest fan of Virgin Radio, but on their web-site there is a live session where he plays Eve of Destruction - fantastic. :)
