What is the best Guitar shop in the UK? in Musicians (Gear, Tabs & Lyrics)
Title: What is the best Guitar shop in the UK?
I was recently doing the rounds of music shops in Edinburgh and I stumbled across a store called GuitarGuitar. This is well the best guitar shop I have ever seen. They must have at least 700 guitars on the walls and loads of cool backline gear too.
It would appear that they also have a Glasgow store even bigger!!
Has anyone else been in a store that can compete??

Title: Sorry Ferg man…
Good point dude, I just copied my aquired set list. Forgot about the time shortage.
T? played Moment of clarity at T in the park 1995. That is the only time I have seen them play it. It rocked though.

Re: Glasgow!! in Therapy? Live
Title: Correct set list
Yup good point. The correct setlist was:
Nowhere
Teethgrinder
Nobody here but us
Straight Life
Limbo
Who knows
Moment of clarity
Sister
Punishment kiss
Rust
If it kills me
Turn
Dancin with manson
Church of noise
Potato Junkie
Stop it your killing me
Screamager
—————————
Skyward
Die Laughing
Knives
Isolation
What a set. This was my 12th Therapy? gig and the only one to better it was the Barrowlands 1995.

Title: Set list???
From my beer drenched memory I recall them playing the following (in no order obviously):
Hey satan you rock
Knives
Screamager
Voodoo Doll
Stories
Die Laughing
10 Yr Plan
If it Kills Me
Rust
Church of Noise
Gimme Back My Brain
Nobody Here But Us
and a wee bit Master of Puppets
Anyone else remember any others??

Galsgow for the fat bastards… in Therapy? Live
Title: Glasgow for the fat bastards…
For a wee moment the rumble of “You fat bastard” was heard from the bowels of the Garage, but this was not for new streamlined Mr Cairns. No, congratulations to Michael. You are now a fat bastard too!
Rocking night despite fairly poor turnout.
Anyone going to Belfast next month?

Title: Check out the site…
The guy from Stiltskin (Ray Wilson) is still gigging. He had a band that played Edinburgh lots called Guarenteed Pure. Check out his Web Site. http://www.raywilson.co.uk.
He used to play at the bar up the road from me before Stiltskin came about.

Title: Great, No and OK!
HIFH are a bright light in a sea of “nu-metal” tossers. They are a great band live, tight as a G-string and one of the most energetic bands around (check out Justin climbing around the stage).
No they are 10 times better than Symposium and, yeah Kinesis were pretty good too.
The first act on (can’t remember their name thankfully) were just a tad noisy and crap. When the singer announced that three guitars had been stolen the night before the crowd cheered and he spat on us!
Nice man!

I have already said it on the wall and I have to say it again.
The Hell is for heros Bassist had a T? T-shirt on last night. Not so much a famous fan (well not yet).

Respect to the HIFH bassist. Just back this second from seeing them at the Liquid Room, Edinburgh. What a fucking gig. The bassist had a Therapy? T-shirt on.

Title: Get this…
I advertised a Sega Megadrive and it was finally sold for £16.
I e-mailed the buyer 13 times over a 6 week period and not once did he get in touch.
So I reported him to e-bay and followed all the proper reminder steps. Then I left negative feedback.
4 hours later the tosser left me negative feedback saying that I didn’t understand that people have personal problems! (well duh. He could at least have e-mailed me to tell me he had a problem)
Wot a Willy Wonka!!
OK thats my bitch for the day.

Hello in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
Title: Hello
S’pose I should introduce myself now that I have discovered the Wonder Wall (Bollox to that). I’ve been a T? fan since 1994 and seen then 15 odd times. They are the most influential band of my time and it’s great to see that you are all still out there throwing your support their way.
Catch me at all the Scottish gigs pogoing with the best of them.

Re: Metallica in Other Bands & Artists
Title: If the Chillies can do it so can Metallica
Although a different mould from Metallica, The RHCP share a similar pattern of fortune. They have gone from domination with Blood Sugar… in the early 90’s through relative obscurity until the advent of Californication. They now pull more fans than ever.
Metallica peaked commercially with the black album and have been slated for every release ever since. Perhaps if St. Anger had seen the light this time last year then they would have been more successfull as Rock is on the downturn again, however there seems to be a current thirst for the old bands and if St. Anger is as different as pre-empted the Metallica too may surprise us all.
Roll on the 9th June.

Title: Bollox to MTV2 and Kerrang
I have religiously watched MTV2 and Kerrang over the last couple of years. The past 6 months I have seen them going from XXX Rockass channels to kids, teeny-rock garbage.
I work all day but watch at night and weekends. If they are playing the new T? tune then they are hiding it from me!
Come on rock channels, show us your balls and get rocking again.

Title: “Every generation will scorn the next, and their music”
I heard someone saying that on telly a few years ago and it is very true. When I stayed at home my folks say they had to “put up” with my “noise”.
My advise: Tell them to get stuffed and turn the tunes up so loud it makes your ears bleed!

In the first series (I think) of “Trigger Happy TV” they played Diane over part of the show. A totaly random tune as there was no link to any Diane or Therapy? I guess they just liked the song.
Has anyone heard them anywhere else bizarre? A wedding, funeral or TV show perhaps?

Wow. Its amazing how this is esculating into a mosh pit frenzy! Ok so we have established the reason for the poor gig at Donnington was due to the fact that Therapy? were crap. This now answers the question that has plagued me for eight years. Phew! What would I do without you all?
Anyhow lets change the subject now as I don’t want linched at the next gig in May.
Check out my new “pointless” thread.

Title: Dear Mr Wankstain above.
I’m glad you lost your friend because you are obviously an obnoxious tosser. At least your friend went to the gig. Unlike yourself who was at home listening to Take That. I have seen Therapy? 15+ times and they have never been “Shit”. There was a reason for the poor performance and the POINT in the post was to find out why, not get abuse from retards like you.
Away and listen to The Backpassage Boys and stop bothering me.
Hope you have a nice day.

Title: Donnington ‘95
Lets take a wee break from the new album.
Did anyone out there see Therapy? at Donnington in 1995. If so could someone answer an eight year question of mine? What the hell happened to their set A-They cut it short and B-The sound was dreadful.
I was hopping around in the snakepit(right at the front) like an amphetamine fueled grasshopper but the sound was so poor I could hear my mate talk three feet away.
What went wrong?
Cheers folks
